Fortunately, my husband was onsite every day, because Rotelle didn't bother to have a supervisor there every day. My husband caught several mistakes along the way. They took many shortcuts - like not centering one of our vanities, cutting sloppy holes for lights, poor door installation on several doors, closet doors were hung wrong, forgot to put down the Luan flooring base that we paid thousands extra for, etc. But the worst part was the customer service after the sale was finalized. I had a punch list of about 40 items, and it was so painful to get them fixed. They fought us tooth and nail on many of them. They didn't follow through on the items that needed to be fixed to get our permanent certificate of occupancy. The temporary one ran out and we literally could have been kicked out of our home until it was resolved, but the township was very kind about it. They planted grass on the hottest day of the year when there was no rain in the forecast for the next 9 days. They did the same to my neighbors today when it's 92 degrees. The feeling was that they were just checking off boxes with no consideration for doing things right. We had to reseed the entire yard to the tune of over $10K and had to refinish the garage floor for $4K because of their error and refusal to fix it. Everyone in our neighborhood are having the same problems. By the way - the 5 star rating by Douglas Shade, fyi he is an employee of Rotelle.
