We have used Birch Management to manage a rental property, and they have some great systems in place to quickly turn around rental properties with the goal to keep someone in the property and address issues. Their documentation and electronic systems are great. The one complaint we have had is their customer service attitude is such that they have a hard time admitting that they have areas of their service that could be improved. When faced with customer complaints about not being able to reach a person on the phone, they put out a newsletter to say that while people have complained about not being able to reach someone, we are doing a great job and handling so many calls. When faced with a complaint about maintenance charges that are excessive, they simply say that we stand by our workers and our charges are cheap compared to others. If they would only admit that there are areas that could be improved and apologize for their failures, that would go a long way to demonstrate good customer service.
