I spent a considerable amount of money on a chair (over $1800). I had the chair in my home for about 3.5 weeks with only a few days of actual use, when we realized that the chair seat was crooked and was causing back pain to the user of the chair. I called and had the chair picked up (about 3 weeks ago for the call and they have had the chair for 2 weeks). Today they said they will not allow me to return the chair - even for store credit toward other furniture because it was ordered more than a month ago. I'm livid - when you spend that kind of money and they won't stand behind the furniture they sell it makes for a very bad experience. Unless you want to be stuck with furniture that is not worth the money you spend, make sure you inspect every inch of it before the delivery driver leaves and return it on the same day. I still have most of a 3 bedroom house to furnish, but this will be the only piece from Texas Furniture to cross my threshold.
