I went to Dr. Kristen Titko because she had worked with the Cincinnati Reds. Thought that I was getting a very reputable doctor. I had a small pain in the back of my heel NEAR the achilles. She said that it was my achilles tendon. I wasn't so sure. I had her to take 2 x-rays and an MRI to make sure. She didn't see anything that would change her opinion. She ended up doing surgery on my Achilles tendon, then decided to cut on the spot of pain that I had been complaining about. What do you know? There was a bone spur there!!! So now, I have to spend the rest of my life buying $300 unnecessary orthotic inserts every year to put in my shoes. Would not recommended her!
