We hired Buddy Aiken owner of Rainbow painters to repair our bedroom ceiling. He charged us 250.00 which we paid him in full. I asked him about flaws I saw on the ceiling but he said it was nice and smooth and assured me that once the ceiling was painted it would look great. Well I painted the ceiling and it looks horrible! I have photos and witnesses as proof. There's holes, uneven areas, etc. it looks as bad as it did before he did the job! I called him and he said he'd come by to look at it, he never showed and has ignored numerous calls and messages from myself and my husband. He also used caulking along the ceiling/ wall edge and its all uneven making the paint look all uneven, the joint compound he used to repair along the wall crack in a corner is all uneven and has tons of tiny holes in it. I can post the pictures online to show just how bad it is! We now had to hire another contractor to repair the work the Mr. Aiken did incorrectly now costing an additional 375.00. Mr. Aiken won't even talk to us about it, we gave him a chance to fix it, or refund us, even pay us back in payments but he has ignored all attempts at any communication.
THE ONLY COMMUNICATION WE HAVE NOW RECEIVED IS A REPLY TO OUR COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WHERE HIS REPLY WAS THAT HE WAS GOING TO SUE US FOR HARRASSMENT... A FAR AS WE KNOW A CONSUMER HAS THE RIGHT TO REQUEST A REFUND AND / OR FILE A COMPLAINT WHEN THEY'VE PAID FOR SOMETHING THEY'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH. TAKE OUR ADVICE, LOOK ELSEWHERE!
