Previous to attending the Saint Jude Retreat I failed many times; went to rehab, tried it on my own, therapy, etc... I needed something different and they offered exactly that. They did not promise me anything, in fact tehy were pretty straight forward over the phone, I was told "It was up to me" and I did it. I went to the Mountain house, and while it wasn't the Tag Mahal, I was treated right, and my stay was in fact very comfortable. I am not one to leave reviews but after reading some of the comments in here I have to make a personal comment. By the sounds of it, these other comments are made by people who did not attend the place and are very missinformed. I made friends with a 24 old kid who was asked to leave due to consuming some illegal substances. He was not kicked out, he broke the rules, but so you know they treated him very well, and was promised to be able to come back and finish the program if he showed commitment. He did in fact 6 weeks later, we still keep in touch. Anyway, I dont want this to sound all about others but would like to say thank you to the Saint Jude Retreat staff. From Jim, to Holly, to Mary Thank you for being there for me you made me believe again.
