I purchased a mattress in 2007. I wanted to support a local business, the bed was comfortable and the saleswoman was nice. The morning of the day the mattress was to be delivered, I received a phone call from a man saying that they couldn't deliver until the afternoon. I told him I had to got to work at 1pm. He jumped on me like a spider monkey. I immediately called the store to let them know one of their employees was beyond rude. The sweet sales lady apologized and told me it was the owner and that she would call him. I couldn't believe it, the owner? I should have cancelled my order right then but we were excited to get our new bed. He showed up before 1 and had turned it around completely and was over the top pleasant.
6 years later the mattress is un-usable. (It started to deteriorate months after we got it but I thought it was just normal wear of a new mattress)
I called them recently to see if there was a problem with the memory foam, recall perhaps, or if it was normal. A man answered and got all over me for even asking. RUDE is an understatement. I cannot believe this company is still in business. He invited me to start the warranty process but I don't really think it would get me anywhere and I don't want to deal with this "family owned" business again.
BIG MISTAKE!! live and learn I guess.
Just bought a nice Sealy from a reputable retailer. Im good for the next 25 years.
