We stayed over labor day weekend and our first impression was great. Fun slide, decent pool by the ocean..... then reality set in. In our first room our TV did not work, nor the telephone; we were promptly moved to new room and at first thought was everything was still ok. But the longer we were in room the more issues we had. The refrigerator did not work at all, there was no hair dryer and no phone at all. We did get a working refrigerator by the end of the day... but it was quite a wait (eight hours). And on our last full day the boiler went out and we had no hot water. Yuck! The worst part is I would have expected the hotel to offer compensation.... all we were offered was a one night free stay on a weekday of our choosing. Well.... what good is a weekday stay to a place we have no intention of visiting again in the next couple of years? None.
