I was very disappointed in a visit that I had recently had as well as a couple of other visits that I have had in the past. The most recent appointment ended after I waited for over 2 hours, which I might add that I don't mind the wait, but the Doctor came in looked at me for 2 seconds and then begain to tell me that I had a virus without even doing a strep culture. My glands were very swollen, both ears had fluid, sinuses were swollen, this by the Doctor, not to mention my ears and throat were killing me. Then she proceded with her "You have the same thing everyone else has that I've seen today" speech. I hate to be the one to tell her but everyone is different and should be treated so. Over the years the medical field or the so called practice of medicine has let the public down, patients as a whole just want to get better, that doesn't mean we want a majic pill to make things better, but someone to really listen and try to work with us(patients) to get us well.
