I attended the opening of this restaurant and have been a regular ever since. Interesting in some of the reviews here referencing New Orleans and Cajun, this cafe has never claimed to be either. Best entree the catfish. If you are really country, you know the Whole Catfish, with bones is the best tasting. If you are unsure of how to eat that, you're not country. The fish is farm raised, and shipped fresh, never frozen. If you know fish then no explanation needed. The owners Wendy and Branden have a proven product with a great lineage. Her father has owned a popular Irving restaurant for 25+ years, Pappy's on Beltline and Conflans. The coleslaw is homemade. Recommend you stick to the catfish and and cole slaw as your first meal, try the rest of the items as you like. Fun, family friendly, and a great atmosphere.
