Was driving through town and began feeling bad, to the point of almost passing out. I called 911 and an ambulance brought me in because I was feeling extremely jittery, my blood pressure was 210/108, and LBJ was nearby.
To be blunt, the staff in the ER admissions area sucks. Now I'm sure they deal with whiney idiots all day long, but if they want to be thought of as professionals they should be able to keep their prejudices to themselves or find another line of work.
Once I got in the back the difference was like night and day. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in finding out what was wrong with me. My hat's off to the folks in the back, but some of the High and Mighty pencil-pushers up front may want to re-think their career choice.
