Dear Z-Mech Auto Service,\r \r You are exactly what we've been looking for these past two and half years in NC. I'm ashamed that the first time we called you, we were too impatient to wait the extra weekend for our vehicle to get fixed. Don't worry, we paid a huge price of shady service at another mechanics, and we definitely learned our lesson. We know better now.\r \r I love, love, love that you are a family operated business, and that you and your wife has taken such great care of my husband and I from the beginning. \r Z and Adrienn is VERY considerate, understanding, respectful, reliable, honest, and most of all, helpful. We walked into your store tense and irritated by getting tossed back and forth from crappy service, and you took the car into your hands and fixed it all. \r \r Each phone call you promised was delivered. Each question we asked, you answered with detail and precision. The fact that you charged us only an hour and half for labor when you finished sooner than the two hours you estimated proved your honesty. You charged us exactly what you told us, and pulled no quick ones on us. \r \r Adrienn constantly preached to me, that ""usually, all mechanics want to do is make their customer happy. That's the most important thing,--that we fix your problem, and you are happy."" along with, ""a lot of mechanics forget that the real source of your paychecks are from your happy customers who keep coming back."" Something along those lines, but I'll never forget it. It all makes sense to me now. Since last week until now, I couldn't understand why Z's shop seems too good to be true. I can't find a single thing I do not like about Z Mech's Auto Services. Why haven't they tried screwing us over yet?? \r \r I know why now.\r \r Its because you don't need to. It's because you don't NEED to screw anyone to make money. You've already earned the loyalty and respect from customers alike, that you don't need extra dirty money. I read these reviews and have to laugh at some of them. There is no way to satisfy everyone no matter how good the service is. I had my first experience with Z-Mech Auto when I called around town to find the cheapest price to fix my car. As it turned out, not only was Z-Mech the cheapest, but they had my car ready that day when other service centers wanted to keep it overnight. Since then I have taken a 6 different makes and models to Z-Mech's, from old trucks to high performance BMW's. I join a list of friends, family, and neighbors who use their services as well. As for diagnostics, I can't speak for anyone but myself. They have researched and fixed all issues I have had . As someone said before, they are honest, trustworthy, and hard workers. They will quote you a price BEFORE they perform the service. If complications arise, they will contact you before working on the vehicle. If you have questions or concerns, I'm sure all you have to do is ask. more

They have been so helpful to me for the last couple years. I feel like they really know what they are doing..it is hard to trust people these days but this place you can trust! I looked up Z-Mech's Shop on line, and saw that they had some good reviews. The shop is within walking distance of where I work at, and they offer great coffee which is FREE! I drive a 2008 VW Jetta; and the AC was not giving me any cool air, and it's starting to get HOT! I dropped off my car and told them to call me when they are done checking out what was wrong with the AC. Adrien called me about an hour later and informed me on what needed to be done. Then Z went into great detail about the problem and how it could be fixed. After him explaining what needs to be done, he told me that it could be done by the end of the day. I have been going to Z-Mech Automotive Automotive for over 10 years! They are honest hard workers who keep in touch with you while they have your car and take the time to explain everything in detail to you. They are honest and trustworthy and I wouldn't think to bring my car anywhere else! more

My brother (a mechanic) has an equal here in Raleigh, (YEAH!!), so I don't have to travel over an hour to have my car serviced by someone I trust. ""Z"" is the best I've seen in years! He went out of his way to troubleshoot a problem I had with my '05 Audi S4. He diagnosed it, worked with the import dealer to get me the best price on parts, and kept me apprised of timelines! He took the time to explain what needed to be done, showed me the defective parts and let me go into the bay to see for myself what he was doing (and worked tirelessly to complete the job - stayed late, worked through lunch and was always available when I had a question). That is what good customer service is all about! His staff is also top notch and the price was very reasonable for an import! I trust them completely with my car.\r \r I will definitely recommend Z-Mech to everyone I know with an import (or domestic auto)! more

Our family owns two BMW's with over 100,000 on each and would be concerned about having an older car with high mileage except for the fact that we have a mechanic that we can completely trust and who provides a great service for a reasonable price. Z always takes me under the hood or the car to explain what he has done and shows me the parts he replaced and the box that the new part came in. I have learned a lot about cars since going to him and I appreciate him taking the time to review this with me. He is a great guy!\r \r I do not hesitate to send people Z's way. Z is the man. A very fair price for excellent work. He doesn't let a manual written in an office, somewhere, tell him how many hours a project should take. Z is the only mech for all 5 of our families cars, and has been for the past 3 years. Pros: Fair/acurate hourly pricing. more

\r I met him a couple of years back, since i know him i saved up a lot of money; no more headaches or stress...\r \r I have a '98 Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible, i had problems with it since i bought it. I still love my car, so I wanted to take care of it. I had to go to one mechanic place to another. They all did something on it, I was spending half of my paycheck everywhere, and ended back having a same problem over and over again...\r Of course I was taking my car back to each place where I was taking it to, but they couldn't give me a straight answer, so I just got sent somewhere else... ( remind me to my phone company..-..if they can't give you an answer to your question, it's easier for them to connect you to somewhere else....and everything starts all over again...), anyway, i got introduced to ""Z"" by friends, and I'm really thankful for that!\r \r Like my story says it itself, I don't know a much about cars so other places knew how to overcharge me easily...
