Amazing place. So glad I found the wonder years for my daughter. She enjoyed 3 years at the school and learned so much. It became her second home she loved everyone. Miss. Randy,Ms Cathy,Miss Nicole, Miss Diane,Ms.Carole,Ms.Nanette and the rest of the staff. It's such a great place they treat your child with so much love, and nothing is better than that. The owner Vickie is one of a kind. There should be more people in the world like her. One classy lady. I will miss the wonder years, but I'm so grateful my daughter started her school day there. STOP LOOKING THIS IS THE BEST PRESCHOOL. more

I love Wonder Years Preschool. Ms. Cathy and Ms. Randy are amazing child care providers. Vicky has been nothing but nice and accomodating to meet all of our needs. My son receives Early Intervention Services and the school really has incorporated the advice that our therapists gives them. They are always happy to help with his therapy. Our ST and OT have told us how great this school is and they would know b/c they also treat children in other schools. I would recommend this preschool to anyone. more

My daughter came here for pre k and had also full day she had ms Stephanie and ms carol as teachers and she always wanted to be there. Ms Jessica and ms Danielle were also wonderful. And ms carol was amazing too. Ms Vicki was very caring and was always involved. My daughter went into kindergarden reading because of them I love it and so does my daughter! more

A Wonderful Learning Environment 4/19/2011

I am currently a service provider at the Wonder Years Preschool. This school is a place which fosters warmth, guidance and support to all its current students. In the time that I have been at this school I have been extremely impressed by both teachers and administration. Every person that is apart of this school has proven to me that wonderful teachers exist and are prevalent at this school. As a mother of a five year old son if I could go back and enroll my son in a preschool program, Wonder Years would have been my choice. I feel any child would be lucky to be in the presence of this staff and school. Also included should be recognition of the director who runs the school with elegance and class. Finally, if you are a parent and you are looking for a program that provides a wonderful learning environment that every child deserves look no further, the answer is the Wonder Years Preschool. more

Teacher seemed harsh, don't trust them 2/15/2011

I thankfully never enrolled my child into this school. I went for a tour twice and both times, they rubbed me the wrong way. It seems very clean and the director seems very nice, professional and organized. But the teachers don't. I just got a bad feeling about the teachers and couldn't trust them with my child. I liked the setup of the rooms and cleaniness and was going to enroll my 2 yr old. But upon my tour, the director left me alone with the teachers in the classroom while she tended to something else. I observed the older teacher yelling at a toddler for taking off her shoe. I don't mind discipline, but she was screaming at her in such an abrasive manner. I found her tone of voice to be way too harsh for addressing a 2 yr old. I am assuming the director must have heard the teacher yelling because she came rushing in and tried to make light of the matter. She asked what was going on and the teacher at this point was putting the shoe back on the little child. And she started yelling again, ""she took off her shoe again... this is the 3rd time she does this.... I am sick of putting her shoe on."" The director's response was to the child and she said ""oh, you're so silly, you have to keep your shoes on silly."" I was surprised that the director tolerated such abrasiveness from her staff toward the children. I felt the director was trying to be playful about it because I was there. She kept looking at my face for a reaction. I felt that if I wasn't there, I doubt she would have even cared. I felt so bad for the little girl, who was very quiet, and just sat there looking so sad. And then I noticed that all the children were oddly quiet. I got the feeling that they were afraid of the teachers. I decided not to enroll my child at that point. I did like the facility and how clean it was, so I decided to give them a 2nd look. I went back for another tour. This time when I went the children were having lunch. But when I walked in the room the children were just sitting there, staring at the food. A couple of kids were picking at their food but that was it. And the teachers were just sitting there watching them. The older teacher had an annoyed look on her face. She just didn't seem happy to be with children. I felt the teachers should have been helping the children to eat if necessary or at least been encouragaing them to eat. When lunch ended most (if not all) the kids hadn't eaten a bite of their food. Again, I felt bad for the kids. I wondered how many parents would like to know that their children most likely go hungry all day. After that I knew I could never feel comfortable sending my child to this place. more

THANK YOU MISS RANDI & MISS KATHY FOR ALL YOU DO 11/5/2010

I live on the other side of the Island and drive all the way because it is that good of a school. Miss Randi and Miss Kathy have helped my daughter become more social and out going. Even now if she's having a hard time in the morning she asks to go see Miss Kathy. Miss Kathy sits her on her lap and will rub her back. She than distracts her by asking her to help get an activity ready for the younger kids. When I drop my daughter off to them its like leaving her with her Aunt. She comes home siging the new songs she's learned. So happy, she was in two other schools and miserable. I've watched her grow emotionaly and amazed at what they learn. Its a great school with a great staff. No way Miss Randi or Miss Kathy abused anyone. more

Caring and Nurturing daycare/school 10/29/2010

This is a great school! I highly recommend it to parents who want to send their kids in a clean, safe, caring and loving environment. The Director and all teachers are very caring and nurturing and you can see that when your child is all smiles at the end of the day and can't stop talking about what they learned and how much fun they had. As a parent, I also like the relationship between the school and the parents. They always have a smile on their face and are very polite and friendly. I once made the mistake to move my 2-1/2 year old daughter to another school because it was closer to home. BIG MISTAKE! I moved her back to Wonder Years in less than 2 months later. My son, who went there for 3 years, also graduated from Wonder Year's pre-k class where they have an excellent academic program and he is now excelling in kindergarten. Best, Angie more

Wonderful School/Daycare 8/25/2009

I love this school and would reccomend it to anyone. I was with the Wonder Years for about 3 years and both of my children loved it there. The staff became almost like family and everyone is very nice. It's very clean and well run. I have never experienced anything other than caring and love from everyone that worked there. Pros: Very clean; Teachers are wonderful Cons: None at all more

Great Daycare 6/10/2009

I want to start off by saying that the Wonder Years is a great daycare. My child, who is 3 years old has been here for 1 year and loves it. My child talks about the teachers all the time. They are very caring and friendly. They take very good care of the children, and treat them as if they were their own. Also, all of the rooms are spotless and neat. The ownwer is wonderful. She knows all of the children's names and is always available to address any questions and/or conserns parents may have. I highly reccomend The Wonder Years. Pros: New building, great staff, clean. more

A wonderful school 6/5/2009

My daughter has been in the wonder years for two years. I can't begin to tell you how much I love this school. When I was searching for a place for my daughter to attend, I visited many nursery/ pre-schools. A close friend recommened the Wonder Years and it was the BEST decision I made. Since the first day my daughter started ,she loved it. The teachers and staff are warm and loving. Pros: great staff.... loving and attentive more

wonderyears staff 6/4/2009

I have been a parent of the Wonder Years for the past 6 years and connected with the school for the past 11, as my niece and nephew were students there also (along with their cousins that are in their teens). My 7 year old son graduated from there 2 years ago and my 4 year old daughter is there currently. I know many parents that have used the school and I have happily referred people to the school. As an educator myself (along with many other parents at the Wonder Years) I have ALWAYS been thrilled with the progress the students I have known, have made at this establishment-( by the way, many end up in honor programs in elementary school). Pros: exceptional education and care Cons: it only goes to PRE-K more

Great DayCare ( Beware of False Reports) 6/1/2009

This place is great, but unfortunately the next post made up a story to put down Wonder Years, it's false 100%. My son loves it there and I happened to be the only person in the room besides the teachers when it happened. I will not talk about the complainants child, but I will tell you nobody in the room, school, or zip-code touched this child, I assure you. I was willing to talk to the parents then, but they never showed back up and I will testify on behalf of Wonder Years if it would have come to it. This is false and I believe the child's parents were aware of something. I will not talk about their child, but what I saw was definitely not a first timer. Pros: Clean,Great Activities, Trained Staff, Teacher/Child Ratio Cons: Why son never wants to leave more
