My 6 yr old went in to get a baby tooth pulled that didn't want to come out. When they called her name, I held her hand and went to go in with her. They said they had a policy that PARENTS CAN'T GO IN with their children if they are over the age of 3.
I immediately got a bad feeling but my husband told me it was probably nothing. She looked scared as they took her back to the room. When she came out with a foam thing to bite on in her mouth and a plastic box with the tooth they had pulled, we got in the car and started driving. I opened the box and saw TWO TEETH instead of ONE!
I called them and they said the doctor did it for her own good because it was just another baby tooth and would come out eventually anyway. I asked my daughter what had happened and she said he never talked to her, smiled at her, etc. He just sat her in the chair, put the mask on her (WITHOUT EXPLAINING anything about it), then she felt woozy, and he just pulled both teeth. Never asked if she was ok, etc.
They had the nerve to charge my insurance for BOTH teeth, until I told them I was going to tell the insurance I had not authorized the procedure. I guess they re-thought it and only charged for one. AVOID THEM!!!
