Walnut Creek park is part of Albermarle's park system. It's a really nice park about 15 miles south of charlottesville. It has a small lake where you can fish, canoe or swim (during the summer), lots of hiking trails, and some very bike trails. I like to go biking here a lot, because they have lots of trails of different difficulties. During the summer it costs 4.50 for non-albemarle county residents and 3.00 for residents to get in, but it's free any other time of year.
