I was very happy with the manicure and the atmosphere but I didn't like walking to the third floor. It was hard for me to walk that much. more

Most relaxing facial...Paula even replaced my makeup following. After all the above, I felt "brand new" ( almost) Loved the "special prices"....hope that continues! more

My salon experiences at A Clover On Main are superb! I am always thrilled with my cut and color (or spa treatment) and everyone is so friendly. I had a wonderful experience. The only downfall was that there was only one UV light and three people awaiting its use. This caused a significant wait time. During this time I was kept very comfortable though, but may be something to consider in the future. more

I have been a cutomer for several years and have always found the service as well as the personnel to be of the highest quality. The atmosphere is friendly yet private when you want privacy. The new location can present a parking problem but that is what Galena is all about. Great place and great prices. A must do when in Galena. more

This was such an amazing experience from head to toe! We had a mom and daughter getaway. We arrived at 9 am for the Yoga class. We were warmly greeted by "the bubblelady". She had a very "bubbly" personality that just brought smiles to our faces. We will definitely be back. What a perfect way to start our day! After that we had our wonderful services. My mom had a 40 min hand and foot massage by Sharon that was so relaxing that she said she felt in a trance she didnt want it to end. I had the best 90 min hot stone massage by Jerry. I enjoyed every single minute. I was really able to forget about things on my mind and truly relax. And finally we enjoyed side by side pedicures that were the best ever with an extra long massage. I think i dozed off, she was so amazing! The room was quiet and dim with soft music. Phenominal! We even enjoyed a glass of wine and a choc covered strawberry and a carmel apple! Everyone was SOOO nice and professional and genuinely friendly and eager to accommodate. I mostly appreciated the fact that the talking was minimal so I could really enjoy my experience but not stuffy so that I felt that I had to be quiet. They had us so relaxed that it was difficult to talk! I cant wait to go back. What a memorable wonderful relaxing day with my mom. more

We chose A Clover on Main because a "girlfriend" room was available that would accommodate all three of us celebrating birthdays. The wraps, facials, and massages were delightful. The facility is tranquil and spatious. The staff was very warm and friendly. All this at a cost that we considered reasonable! We would return in a heart beat and openly recommend it to others. more

I had the pleasure of a 90 minute massage from Heather recently and I can't say enough about how wondeful it was. At the start she asked me what I needed and where to focus her therapy, (she's very client focused), perfect amount of deep pressure and excellent massage techniques. She has a very calming and centered way about her. You'll be blessed to have a massage from Heather. more

Clover on Main never disappoints. From the lovely woman who greets you at the door (whose name escapes me at the moment) to the final few minutes relaxing while your nails dry... it is a wonderful experience. The soaking tubs are nice and warm and the chairs are uber comfortable. The complimentary beverages and relaxing music round out the treatment. The foot/leg massage rivals any other I've had and the pedicure last far longer than most! more

In February, myself and 4 ladies had booked some pampering time at "A Clover on Main". Our experience was not as we intended it. One gal was talked to her entire massage. Another gal stated, "He used his hairy arm to massage my back." I had a great massage, when it wasn't interrupted by the power going out. My therapist needed to step out of the room 3 times before being able to finish the massage. While she did appologize over and over, the ladies at the front desk did not. I would have expected a free or discounted massage, some type of coupon for my "next visit" or at least an appology from them, but got nothing. They barely looked at me as I check out. I will not be returning here..... more

Amazing pedicure.I have had many pedicures at many spas before but this one was special. All of the employees in the spa were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The jammies and hair products in the front were amazing. But the best was the foot massage with the pedicure that included some reflexology techniques and was extensive. My technician was very focused on the details of every part of the process . My paint job was perfect. Best pedicure I have ever had.....I will be back. more

I was a walk-in client looking for a mother-daughter spa experience. They were very accomodating and sweet. It was my daughter's first "spa day" and they made her feel like a princess, going above and beyond to make it special. Will definitely return when we are in the Galena area again! more

We are from the suburbs near Chicago. My sister found the salon because she is having her wedding in Galena later in the summer. I was riding out with her for her wedding makeup and hair trial, so I figured I would also get my haircut while out there. I loved the salon. Everyone there was extremely nice. The salon was clean, and most important I got a great haircut. If I'm ever going to be out that way again,(besides for my sisters wedding) I will make sure to stop in for a cut. Overall - great staff and great place. more

The atmosphere is very relaxing, staff are very attentive and do their jobs well. I've been to several spa's in the Galena area and This is one of the best! Highly recommend trying it! more

The great part: I have had a signature pedicure with Mindy twice now. Probably the best pedicures ever. It was relaxing and rejuvenating. My feet haven't looked better! Now the not so great part: I had a massage there about a month ago and the therapist was an hour late. She apologized and obviously felt bad. I should have just cancelled because although the mechanics of the massage were okay, the energy wasn't. It felt rushed, disconnected and awkward. The receptionist apologized. Okay. Apology accepted, but next time a therapist is going to be an hour late, tell the client BEFORE he/she gets there. AND offer them a discount. I won't get massages there anymore, just pedicures from fabulous Mindy. more

I've been a client of Clover for over seven years and have weekly massage and monthy pedicures and occasional shellac application. It is my hope Jackie that in addition to posting your displeasure about your experience that you were also professional enough to have a discreet conversation with management regarding that experience. I can assure you that had you done that that your response here would have been much different. Plus, what kept you from asking your provider or management about the protocol that is used? Clover management and staff take their work seriously and their philosophy is rooted in top client satisfaction. It just seems sad that this wasn't used as an opportunity for clear "at the moment" feedback and a more positive outcome. Just think how different things would have been if you had taken the time that you used to complain via a website to have an honest 1:1 conversation with managemement and/or your provider? Hmmmmmmmmmm more
