A Clover on Main Day Spa

Yesterday I had a shellac manicure. It was the worst manicure I have ever had. In fact, i do not even consider it a manicure. The techician, did not soak my nails, nor did she clean under them or clean up my cuticles. The polish is all over my cuticles. It looks terrible. In Chicago, I get a $30 shellac that includes all of the above including a hand massage and a beeswax treatment. I am very disappointed. The worst experience I have ever had at Clover. more

A Clover on Main was able to accommodate our group of 6 ladies for manicures and pedicures all at the same time. They staff was very accommodating, and offered extremely professional and friendly service. It was a great experience from start to finish and the perfect thing for our girls getaway! more

I came in yesterday to use gift certificates that I had received from coworkers this last Christmas. When I had received them, I stashed them away to use this spring when the weather got warmer. I was never told that one expired before the other. I wanted to get a pedicure when I would be wearing sandals. My time with your employee, Mindy Chandler, was wonderful and she did a fantastic job. So when I went to use the gift certificates, I was very disappointed when I was told that one had expired. Normally, gift certificates are good for one year. I felt it was very rude and deceiving. I am a local and I really want to come back to have my nails done, etc. with Mindy. I also wanted to make sure I gave Mindy a decent tip as I have kids who also work in the service industry in Galena and I know how hard it is to "make it" in this town without decent tips. So my Christmas gift, which was for $100.00, cost me $70.00. I felt this was very unfair. I didn't feel I was treated very well by anyone other than Mindy, who did my spa treatment. more

A Clover on Main was a wonderful experience for myself and my out of town guest. We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in the door. Amy and Molly were exceptional and made us feel very special. I will recommend them to everyone. Our nails (mani/pedi) are perfect!!! more

The Clover on Main St. in Galena is wonderful. My daughter(9), my mother in law, and myself visited this past weekend. We got right in for 3 pedicures at once! The girls were great and very friendly. Very unique and relaxing environment! They also did a wonderful pedicure!~ We all had a great time. Thank you! more

I had a pedicure in Dec 2010 with a very close girlfriend who brought me here for a Christmas present it was an awesome spa experience and the best pedicure I have ever had. We will be returning for our annual girls get away weekend the first weekend in June and can't wait to come back!! more

My sister-in-law and I recently visited Galena for a girls trip. The highlight was our 90 minute hot stone massages at A Clover on Main. It is by far one of the best, most relaxing massages I ever ever experienced...highly recommended! more
