Vivace 10/7/2002

Food is better than average, service is about average, accommadations are less than average. Would do a lot better in another location with better restaurant coverage than next to a peircing shop. I'd say...if you like the small restaurant feel, hit it, if not, go to Scalo. Pros: Food Cons: Service, Location, Building more

The restaurant is superb. Having lived in Italy for 3 years I can tell you that Vivace is authentic. Gordon and Gilbert have prepared an excellent menu that includes everything from the staples; L'Amatriciana, Carbonara to the exquisite; Tuna, Marsala, etc. The staff is excellent. The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying fine food. The wine selection is not huge, but perfectly complementary the food. Pros: Quite Inexpensive, Friendly Service, Wonderful Smells more
