I used to go to Baoli miami, formerly known as vita, for its party, my boyfriends is out of town on Wednesday Night, which, definitely, is an amazing experience. We were having A LOT FUN there. STRONGLY RECOMMENED, I promise you won't regret. Seeking a second chance, will be back soon... more

Great place to dine, drink and/or party. Beautiful garden and inside room, great food, extensive wine list, great DJs and ambiance. Very Saint-Tropez like, love it. Their garden is very elegant, sophisticated and romantic which creates a very intimate atmosphere. I recommend this place for all kinds of celebrations but also for a nice romantic night! more

I'd love to tell you the food was great or bad or whatever, but after making a reservation online for 1 person, I received what I thought would be a confirmation call. Instead a very rude woman (I got her name to report to the manager) called to tell me that because I was only one person and wouldn't have a high bill that they couldn't take my reservation. She said if I were two people, they could accommodate me. So, first, if I make a reservation online for 1 and it is accepted, why even make it possible to reserve for one? And two, you have no idea what I planned to order, in fact, many times I order several entrees to taste and I always get a bottle of wine. On this occasion, it was my birthday weekend, so I surely would've ordered more like 4 people! At any rate, when I became dumbfounded at the "no seat for 1", but we have a seat for "2" comment and asked for a manager, the woman became cagey about his name and where he was. I even called back to ascertain his real name and could tell they weren't answering the phone due to caller id, when I called from a different phone they answered, then hung up!!! So, sure, go if you like, but if the customer service inside is anything like the customer service on the phone, good luck. more

It was kind of a disconcerting evening 11/11/11. First, an attempt by a Miami Cab Driver Abel Moise cab # 0150, to try to charge me more for my taxi ride by inflating the credit transaction. Secondly, finally getting into the restaurant to find a very interesting ambiance, However before eating rodents (rats, possums) bigger than most cats were running throughout the back bar area. Not a good evening for me or my guest. Vita hire some rodent control experts--please!!! more

I went with by boyfriend for our anniversay and had an amazing time. We were able to get a table in the garden and it was very romantic. Our waiter was also very attentive and the food was amazing I would absolutly come back. more

Ambience great, but basically had 'watered down' drinks at unbelievable prices. (I am in Manhattan so am not shocked by prices).\r \r Tried to take away unfinished appetizers - we were still eating!\r \r Had to ask for an itemized bill - they presented one only with the total. At that time I saw that a service charge was included.\r \r I suggest ordering only wine more

Unless it's January or February in Miami, this is not the place to be. We ended up at Vita since it's one of the only restaurants that is doing the Miami Spice Menu on Saturday nights at South Beach. To our surprise, no one told us that this place is outdoors. It's was so hot and muggy that if it wasn't that we were starving, we wanted to get up and leave. In addition to the already unpleasant experience, the staff was terrible. They seemed very confused and disorganized. The third strike came when we got our food. I had the Mahi Mahi that is part of their Miami Spice options, it was flavorless, over cooked and dry. None of the five people I was with thought their food was anything special. The look of the restaurant is okay, but have I mentioned drinks are $18! I would never recommend this place. more

This place is unbelievable!! There is a nice garden where you can have dinner looking at the stars in the middle of busy South Beach. I went there for an early dinner with some co-workers. The service was very nice, our waiter was very funny and help us with his recomendations. I had the dover sole which was delicious!! I added some vegetables to my entree and had a chocolate fondant for the dessert. Congrats to the Chef and the staff, this place is just amazing!!! more

I am actually a Realtor on Miami Beach and Brickell area and I always take my customers to eat here as the ambiance is perfect. It's a great place to talk over a bottle of wine and get to know my customers on a different level. \r If you are interested in Miami real estate visit WeListMiami.com or email me at Elliot@WeListMiami.com. Until then enjoy Miami as it has plenty to offer! more

My girl friends and I chose Vita based on a few reviews we had read. We were all pleased with the way the night turned out. The atmosphere was hip, young, and modern - a perfect place to dine for a weekend outing! I chose the Whole Wheat Spagetti Pomodoro. It was light, refreshing and full of flavor!! I was enjoying my night so much that I splurged and indulged on the delicious French Creme Brule. It was amazing! To top everything off, the DJ played perfect background music that allowed us to relax and enjoy each other's company. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to others! more

The food in this place is great. I ordered the whole wheat spaghetti pomodoro and my sister ordered the filet mignon. Both of us loved our dishes! They were worth every dollar, I'm definitely coming back. more

Vita is hip, cool, delicious & fun. I went there for the Wednesday night dinner party. The hostess told us we had to wait, even though our entire party was there. We waited almost 30 minutes. And didn't get to eat until another 30 minutes later. We had a large group of girls and were sat indoors because the garden was already full. They sat us at the big table next to the DJ. It was really loud! But the place is really pretty and so is the crowd. The food is really good but expensive so we all shared a bunch of things. We had the tomato & burrata carppaccio, crab cakes and oysters. For our main course, we all shared the crab ravioli's, skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and grilled asparagus and truffle mac and cheese. YUMMY! The best part of the night was that they sent us over a huge punch in a bowl with a bunch of straws and gave us sparklers to wave in the air. I think Vita tried to make us forget about the wait by sending us this drink...and it worked! more

Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Miami. Anyone either local or tourist should stop at Vita for a delicious meal and great ambient. The seafood there is amazing, but they have other choices as well for people who don't enjoy seafood. more

This contemporary chic French Italian Mediterranean restaurant is the perfect place for great food and a bubbly crowd. The outdoor garden is always overflowing with lavish guests mingling and dining among the lush tropicl foliage. The rest of the room features a lengthy bar, white-clothed tables, tall chocolate-brown banquettes, and a superb waitstaff.\r You can tell how good the food is just by looking it (if the smells haven't overcome your senses by then). My favorite dish was the baked, herbed ricotta tortini, with paper-thin shavings of raw asparagus dressed with bright basil vinaigrette and a dash of tomato. \r This is the perfect spot to hit before a full night of clubbing! more

Like any south beach venue, dinner is always a pricey outing. Vita was well worth it. The private outdoor patio, set back from the street and the music created a relaxing dinner experience. I enjoyed a refreshing Serrano Garden Plate and delicious Pappardelle ai Fungi. The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pasta with mushrooms and porcini definitely hit the spot. more

Vita is beautiful! Go there either for an elegant dinner or for posh Wednesday party. Service is good and food is delicious. The menu is dainty and full of gourmet items from Foie Gras and Sevruga Caviar to Black Truffle Risotto and Rack of Lamb. Although the menu is quite pricy, it is worth. Location is Vita's great advantage. Vita is situated just in front of Setai. Overall impression is positive. Me and my boyfriend went there on Valentine's day and were satisfied. more
