Vista Grande

Our family does eat a Vista Grande occassionally but it is not one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Usually we end up there by default because it is close. The food is ok but not anything to brag about and the service is often rather lackluster. Pricing is about average for a casual dining restaurant. The main reason I know that anyone goes to Vista Grande is to hang out in the bar area. It is a nice place for doing that and if you have a larger group their is a separate room area in the bar that works great. I suspect they have a great Cinco De Mayo party since the place is packed and people park across the street and down the side streets then but I've not attended myself. They usually have a band or dj for that day too. more

The food is disgusting and any place that vacuums practically under your feet while you are eating....no thank you. I rather eat cold Taco Bell more

Vista Grande really is not a very good Mexican restaurant. When we went, the atmosphere and service were nice, but the food was just not very good. Instead, try Chevy's or El Maquey; You'll thank me. I guarantee, the salsa at Chevy's is the best in town, and the food at either Chevy's or El Maguey is unbeatable. more

Vista Grande is a great family oriented Mexican restaurant. There food is great from the chips and salsa you start out with to the main course and finally to the delicious sopapillas for dessert. I personally like their beef burritos and enchiladas. In addition to great food, its a fun environment. They have mexican decor hanging all around the restaurant. The kids love it! more
