Wal-Mart of hair salons 12/12/2009

Yes, you can get an appointment here, and any of the stylists I have been to were competent; however, it's not a memorable or special experience. The salon is crowded, loud, with no special decorating or touches that make clients feel special. There is no bottled water, or even water, or free samples or pampering of any sort. Get in quick, get out quicker. I would rather spend a few extra dollars and feel like a ""special"" client than the experiences I have had at Visible Changes. I drive to Memorial City from the the country, about 65 miles, just to have Afsoon cut and style my hair. She listens to what I want and delivers. I always feel so happy after my appointment with her because she has a dynamite personality. Pros: Personality and Friendliness more

Xzavier is incredible 12/3/2009

I am a 31 year old guy. have been going to Xzavier for over a decade. Even though I don't live that close anymore, I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair, period. When you find someone that is the best there is, you just don't switch. Very highest reccomendations for X-man. Incidentally, he is one of the nicest people ever. Doesn't matter if you want edgy or conserative or a mix, he'll cut it perfect. Even if he went blind, I would still let him cut my hair...he is like yoda with the force. I have been seeing Afsoon for about two years now and she is very consistent. She always takes the time to get your style just right and she is always in a good mood. Afsoon is the best! 11/7/2009

Afsoon is polite, precise, and always has a huge smile on her face. I went randomly to Visible Changes and Afsoon cut my hair and now I'll never go anywhere else! She remembers me every time, asks about how life is going, and remembers the little details about the stories I've told her before. She always pays attention to what she is doing - some hair dressers look around to see who is passing by or what that other girl is wearing - but I never have any doubts that Afsoon's full attention is on my hair. At the end of each hair cut, she gives me little tips on how to style my hair, and I always get great compliments...sometimes from people I don't even know! I can't even imagine having my hair cut my anyone else than Afsoon at Visible Changes in Memorial City Mall. She's the BEST! Pros: great hair cut, friendly service Cons: my hair doesn't grow fast enough to go back every week! more

Toni is not only a great color specialist, but she is very nice and wonderful person. She listens to what you have to say and she is always uplifting. She really wants the client to be happy with the results. My hair color is just what I wanted. I went to Stephanie for the first time to get my hair cut, little nervous, but she made me feel very comfortable. She asked how I wanted my hair cut and she did an beautiful job, just the way I wanted. Both Toni and Stephanie are awesome. Pros: Best color and the best haircut!!!!!!! Cons: No complaints more

DENA IS A COLOR MAGICIAN 10/16/2009

I went to a place called Mythili's Beauty Solon. I asked them to color it a strawberry blonde. When they finished it was a frizzy mauve color with an orange skunk stripe down the middle. It was HORRIFIC! So, I ran to Visible Changes because I knew they were open late than most salons. I got there at 7 (when they stop seeing customers) Dena saw my hair and had pity on me. She began the process of fixing my hair. While doing this she also educated me on the process that she was doing and why. It was very interesting. The finished product is amazing. She was so kind and comforting during the entire process. Dena is my hero. Pros: CARING SERVICE AND AMAZING COLORING SKILLS more

Arthur truly cares about doing a great job and respecting the clients wishes. He really seems to get in tune with your personality. He will be very honest with what works best for your hair and skin tone. He stopped me from making a mistake in color. I stumbled upon Arthur, because he had to fix a botch job by someone else. I am a repeat customer of his, and won't see anyone else. He is friendly and cares about the customer without all the attitude. Juan is the best 6/10/2009

I was new to Houston and needed a place to get my haircut. I stopped a girl on the street and asked her where she went (her hair was amazing) she gave me Juan's number. I've been going to him and only him ever since. He is fantastic and is great at listening to what I want and making it better than I pictured. He is always on top of the newest styles and fashion. I highly recommend Juan to anyone looking for a new hair stylist. Pros: great style, very edgy, great guy, great service more

A great team!! 5/31/2009

I just have to tell everyone that Angel is amazing at doing color and I was lucky to find her. I am never disappointed when I go in to get my hair done and she always makes me laugh! Once I am done with my color I head to Nazilla, who has a way with scissors, she make sme look so good! Of course we spend the small amount of time catching up with more laughing.......The couple hours I am there my cheeks hurt from laughing so much! These are two amazing ladies and I would recomend them to anyone! Pros: Two great ladies! Cons: N/A more

So Sad 5/26/2009

A couple of weeks ago I was in the salon trying to check in when I noticed a man and his wife scolding a young gentelmen at the front desk. By the look on the poor guys face, he looked like he was at a loss for words. The man and his wife were verbally abusing this employee. I've seen this employee before on previous visits and he is always freindly and courteous when I come to the salon. The only reason for this review is because I read a negative review concerning this incident posted by the other party and felt that the facts stated were untrue. Robert and the rest of the management team always put the clients interests first when resolving any issues within the salon. Why they would single out this one individual is undoubtly a personal attack and should not be associated with this fine establishment. I would highly reccommend this salon as your destination when getting any haircuts or other services at a reasonable price. Pros: Great Team, Fun Enviroment Cons: Busy,Busy,Busy more
