Xavier Silver has been cutting my hair for over 7 years. He is able to re-invent my look every 6 months with his tools of trade. Xavier really knows his stuff. I used to have a long hair style and was not sure what hair cut would look good on me. He gave me a few suggestions on what would look best and how to style my cut. He then showed me the correct products to wash, condition and style my hair. Xavier is definately worth going to if you are looking to get a new look. This salon doesn't even deserve 1 star. I grew up going to Visible Changes. My mom, sister and I all went to visible changes. That is until they ruined my wedding day. I talked about my wedding day hair with my hair dresser ever since I started college. Finally the day had come! My mother got her hair done earlier that day and confirmed with my hair dresser that she was doing my hair that evening. As my air brush make up was being applied Visible Changes calls me saying they need to bump me back 30 minutes. Not to mention my sister was her next appointment so that would bump her back 30 minutes. Yikes, it went downhill from there! They didn't double book me, the apt before me was really for an up-do. The lady I had been going to all of my life could have said no, I can't do this I have Rachel's wedding hair next and I won't have enough time. Nope, that didn't happen. She took the job and made me wait. Wait on my wedding day! Everyone knows you are a schedule the day of your wedding! I was furious and extremely disappointed. Of course I was emotional. I had to remove my fake eyelashes from crying and re-apply makeup because the tears ruined the air brush make up I just paid for. I went to visible changes for the first time about a month ago and I love my haircut and color. I would recommend Diane and Julie. They are great. They are also sisters which i think is super. It made me think of my family and I felt very welcomed. Each is different in their own way but together can create awesome work. If you're a blonde in need of an upgrade go to visible changes. It is very hard to find a hair stylist in houston who has everything to offer: style, patience, creativity, consistency and value. JUAN has definitely exceeded my expectations. 9 years ago a good friend of mine treated me to a haircut by a stylist he and all of his friends went to. I was introduced to Novlette and got the best haircut I had EVER gotten. I've been going to X since 1997 and can't imagine anyone else coming close to his style. He's never let me down ONCE in the 12 YEARS I've gone to him. He has cut not only my hair but just about all my friends (and i'm popular) and everyone raves about how awesome he is. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and everyone who is looking for the best in town. He also give excellent advise on how to keep up with your hair and what would and wouldn't look good on your type of face. The guy's a genius at this stuff. I would just like to add this comment in reply to many I have seen. Xzavier has always made sure I looked the best possible. He has also always informed me of how to properly style my hair on my own, from the basics of how to style it to what product to use. My first time seeing him he asked me to trust him with what he wanted to do and I did. Immediately leaving his salon I received two compliments. I am one of the most difficult people to please & for the past 10yrs Xzavier has never let me down. In the past I had tried other hair dressers when he was too booked, but it is to the point now that I will postpone getting my hair cut by a month rather than let anyone else touch my hair. Even when I do fashion shows and beauty contest, Xzavier is the only person I will let near me? I don?t care ?how good? the stylist on site are, I rather go to Xzavier 4hrs before the show than let someone else do my hair. i have been going to xzavier for years and i have never found anyone who has cut my hair the way i wanted it done and been as entertaining while doing it. Also alison does my color and i have so much faith in the both of them that the last few times i have been in and they asked what i wanted to do with my hair, i felt completely comfortable with telling them whatever they thought was right was what i wanted to do. I recommend them to everyone who asks about my hair because i know they will be just as pleased. Oh yeah and adding the hot towel treatments was a great idea as well.
