I had a bad leak on my transmission filter and had just had my driveway sealed. VA Tire & Auto took my vehicle in without an appointment replaced the filter and topped off the tranny fluid all at avery reasonable change. They were however finished with the car 90 minutes later than I was first told.\r more

I hadn't taken my Mazda in for service for some time; primarily because several problem occurred with it that required the dealer to fix. I was due for a State Inspection, Oil Change and thought I would need the front/rear brakes serviced and thought I'd take it back VT&A of Gainsville. It was a smart choice!! The service was efficient, pricing competitive, Shuttle service nice and staff very pleasant and not out to gouge you for the repairs. I'll be back for my next servicing!!\r more

The company told me not to come back for service because I filed a legitimate complaint with the the Virginia State Inspector's office (I wanted a second opinion on my brake shoes, and a second technician told me that the shoes were fine).\r \r I later learned that I was not alone: Virginia Tire & Auto in Gainesville has one of the highest total complaints in all of Northern Virginia. Not surprising, the company is NOT a member of the local BBB.\r \r I acted in good faith, but don't believe that their management has. This is bad news for Gainesville if the inspections complaint system allows for retaliation. more

I highly recommend VTAG! My battery died near this location. One of the guys drove me to my car and charged my battery. They were very busy at the time but he didn't make me feel rushed. I feel they are honest with me when I come in for service. I don't feel they are trying to up-sale me. They are very friendly and courteous when I'm there. They work hard to fit your schedule. Their hours are great!\r more
