The company told me not to come back for service because I filed a legitimate complaint with the the Virginia State Inspector's office (I wanted a second opinion on my brake shoes, and a second technician told me that the shoes were fine).\r

I later learned that I was not alone: Virginia Tire & Auto in Gainesville has one of the highest total complaints in all of Northern Virginia. Not surprising, the company is NOT a member of the local BBB.\r

I acted in good faith, but don't believe that their management has. This is bad news for Gainesville if the inspections complaint system allows for retaliation.
