On my birthday of last year my wife and I visited Vescio's in St. Louis Park, MN. It is located not far west of Lake Calhoun on Rt. 7. I have to tell you that this is an outstanding italian restaurant and I highly recommend taking a visit to this place. The menu is fairly large offering many options on appetizers and entrees. The restaurant atmosphere is relaxing perfect for any special occasion. But you do not require any special occasion to go - have dinner or lunch there anytime. It reminds me of the old italian restaurants in Rhode Island established by the old italians. Also available is a great selection of wine for those. The portions are quite big so be ready to eat with the menu prices being very fair for such a nice place.
Vescio's also has another location in Dinkytown (University of Minnesota) that I have not visited but should you live nearer to there, go.
