Great quasi-outdoor area 9/6/2005

For those of you wandering down Polk St in Russian Hill, Vertigo is a great place to stop in for a drink. If nothing else, they have a great quasi-outdoor seating area that is wonderful getting some fresh air (as long as you avoid the smokers) and avoid the usual crowdiness and sweaty people in indoor bars. Dance floor is extremely small. Exotic drinks are worth trying. more

Ok Place 8/27/2005

The new bouncer is not as nice as the previous one, and does not seem to know what he is doing. The bartenders rock! Drinks are Faboo! DJ's vary, weekend guy is quirky but gets the teeny dance floor all sweaty and hot...that's good. Who will be dj'ing is always a surprise. more
