NO STAR...NO STAR......Very unprofessional..where is Mike... Never ever step into that shop.. more

In the 1 hour I waited I was bounced off to three different people all of whom told me Mike will be right back which i found later on Mike no longer at Verrazano Service. Get it together. You're a business. Invest in multiple lines or better yet, invest in quality management and employees that have can-do attitudes and some sense of urgency.\r \r When the clueless man got around to asking me some none sense questions about my auto issue another customer walked in asking about where about of Mike he totally dropped me mid sentence and attended to the other customer telling him Mike was out sick\r \r Over it. I'll take my money elsewhere or find where Mike is and make sure to let everyone who asks know just how terrible the customer service is at this joke of a business. more

This is my 3rd. site i am writing about this place.I trusted this shop so much for years.Mike made me feel like i am family member.\r Giving me ride back home if i have to leave my vehicle for service,remembering how many sugar i take with my coffee,calling me for my birthday but before everything fixing my vehicle right at the first time .\r I was a certified automotive technician for 30 years and i never doubt Mike about the work and price. \r This morning I went in for a simple service and treated like garbage.\r I will never ,ever go back to this shop unless he is around.I don't know whereabouts of Mike but I will find him...I hope i will. more

I thougt they were over rated but I found out I was wrong last saturday. Terrific guy Mike. Cured my Range Rover in 45 Mnts. and charged me 125.00 vs,950.00 previous estimate from different place.Hard to belive..Pleasant guy to deal with and absulately honest.. more

I moved from the Midwest to Manhattan about a year ago. In Indianapolis I had a mechanic that I trusted and consistently went to. Since I've been in NYC I've been trying to find a mechanic I could rely on. After getting jerked around for about a year, I came across these reviews for the Verrazano Service Center while having issues with my car on my way to Ft. Hamilton. These guys took care of me, are trustworthy and priced great! I highly recommend them! more

During my young adult years I was kind-of-a weekend curbside mechanic and as a result I know when I?m getting gouged by a service station especially when it comes to the dreaded annual NYS Automobile Inspection. Such was the case in ?09. So this year in the hope of avoiding a repeat outcome I searched for a highly customer rated service station through the Internet. As a Manhattanite logic dictated that I choose to look for this reputable service station in the land of my youth ? Brooklyn. What I came up with was a place called the, "" Verrazano Service Center? located on 4th Ave. between 91st & 92nd Streets. Upon my arrival I was amused to discover that VSC was a British Petroleum, BP franchise. As it turned out their affiliation worked in my favor. That?s because their business had fallen off dramatically because of some form of misguided boycott on the part of their area customers. Those area customers who choose to boycott this reputable BP service facility will ultimately be hurting themselves and their community as a whole. There is plenty of blame to go around for the events responsible for the Gulf of Mexico tragedy. Before this Brooklyn community took out their anger on this Bay Ridge franchise they should?ve first looked into the activities of those who domestically share responsibility with BP such as the headline propelled yellow media, environmental profiteers like Al Gore and the extremist self-serving politicians that he and his kind influence. more

Not too many shops here in NY has a knowledge about European vehicles..and folks belive me i am not talking about swapping your brake pads on your VW or fixing your Check Engine Light.I am talking about a serious electronic ABS/Suspension/ Traction Control issue on my 2006 Merecedes S500. Towed from Belt parkway on 08/29 to BP fueling station In Bayridge...Mike with a unique accent is a Rock Star technician!!!! Use to take my VW to the dealer, wow I wish I'd found Mike sooner, such a pleasant surprise. Last snow storm NY had around March 1 my daughter and her two kids were strangled with a flat tire at one of BP's Brooklyn location ( verrazano auto repair) around 11pm. with his civilian clothes owner Mike went out of his way to help my grandkids and their mother. more

I wanted you to know what a great job Mike and his staff did handling my repair service. I can tell he has an extremely busy position and that made it all the more amazing to me. He remained calm at all times and appeared to accomplish his task .I was in the location several times and his entire team was very pleasant to work with, from gas attendents up front to Perry and David at the shop. I encountered a few delays in the repair work but Mike was on top of it and kindly called me each time to explain. It?s no fun facing with a vehicle taht doesn't run, but your team really did a great job of making the transaction go smoothly. My compliments go out to all of you. Verrazano Service is AMAZING! I am a young woman and hate it when mechanics treat me like an idiot who knows nothing about cars or try to rip me off, etc. Mike is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who always include me in the process, give fair estimates, are able to quickly diagnose the problem, do good and timely work, and have a few extras thrown in that make you feel like you're getting great customer service and good value for your money. I would HIGHLY recommend that you take your business there if you live in the Bayridge area. You won't be sorry.... Pros: tons and tons of Pros..... more
