I bought my silk wedding dress there which cost $2,000.00 dollars. I expected the alterations to be amazing considering that I spent this amount on my dress. I expected lots of attention to detail and great customer service. What I got was a terrible hem on my wedding dress and a hard time when I complained about it. Julie hemmed it completely crooked. I went back for a fitting and left mortified. The owner Cathy and Julie both denied that anything was wrong with the dress hem, gave me a really hard time and were rude. I demanded that they order a new dress or refund my money. Cathy eventually returned half of the money I paid for the dress. However, on my wedding day the hem was falling out and I had thread showing on the bottom of the dress. They really don't have any clue what they're doing in terms of alterations and I can't believe anyone would treat a bride the way I was. Don't go there! more

My three daughters were married within 14 months. All 3 bridal gowns came from Veiled in Elegence. All three dresses were completely different styles. The dresses were absolutely beautiful and the service was very personable. Kathy gave wonderful advice when and where needed. We have recommended this shop to every new bride we here of. As a mother of the bride this shop was heaven. more

Be careful here. My mother purchased two dresses for my wedding and both turned out to be worthless. The store owner, Kathy, is not familiar with/knowledgeable about the designers she carries. When pressing her with questions about sizing, she had no clue. She assured us that her alterations staff would do a great job on fitting the dress specifically for mom. We requested simple alterations such as hemming, bringing up the shoulder straps, etc. The seamstress, Julie, was awful. The hem was uneven (the bottom of the dress and the shoulder straps), there were holes in seams, lines were uneven, etc. We visited Julie at least three times and explained each time that we were upset, however she thought the dress looked fine. So not only is she bad at her job, but she is also blind. My mother was so upset with the dresses that on the night before my wedding, she went diggin through her closet and found an old dress to wear instead. We spent over $600 on the dresses and almost $200 in alterations. The dresses are useless and ugly. PLEASE be careful. I would not want to trust Julie with my $2000+ wedding gown. As brides, we obviously want the dress to look perfect and I just don't think Julie has the skills for that. Her work is sloppy and it's just not worth the risk. Go to another salon that has a more experienced staff. more

I got my bridal dress from here. I absolutely loved it. It was perfect. I made an appointment before going here and spent only a coupleof hours to find the perfect dress. I give this place a perfect 5. more

The employees here really make you feel like a princess! They treat everyone with such kindness! The prices are pretty high, but they offer so much! Everything they carry is beautiful! They carry a smaller selection than most bridal shops do, but that just means you will have a very unique dress for your special day! more

I purchased my wedding gown here and had the best experience. The staff was so helpful - one woman even came to my church the day of the wedding to help me with the dress. The selection is amazing too! more

A beautiful shop that recently moved, Veiled in Elegance has a much larger and accomodating space than previously on third street. They carry a smaller selection of dresses and accessories. However they offer a personalized, caring touch that retail chains just cant offer. Their headpieces and jewelry are exquisite and one of a kind pieces. Perfect for a unique bride. They have super cute kids dresses and lots of ideas for gifts and showers. PROS: Great new shop with unique items CONS: Costly more
