The rehabilitation is tremendous. The staff was encouraging to the point you wanted to do more. I felt stronger with each step. The rehab program is fun and interesting, not boring. The staff was all tremendous and all knew your first name and that makes you feel good. I was impressed with the dietician coming two or three times to see about the food. The food was good, better than most places. The doctors were very helpful. It has been a great experience and I would recommend this rehab hospital to anyone. more

All of the nurses and aides treated me like a king. My therapists; from day one, took very good care of me. I walked down the hall with my walker and all of the staff greeted me with smiles. Everyone deserves a gift for a job well done! more

Rehab evaluation 8/24/2020

Other than my first few days at UH rehab hospital, service has been outstanding! PT,OT and OT WERE OUTSTANDING throughout my stay. Special praise to John, Tim and Jacqueline and speech therapist. They were willing to work with me and incorporate my ideas into therapy. The food was outstanding, meals were really good. RN Bob was fantastic! My room was very well maintained during my stay. more

Rehab Stay 8/20/2020

I feel as though I received good care during my stay. The nursing staff, as well as, the rehabilitation staff has been attentive and very respondent. However, the front desk staff may need some additional training on attitude and being personable. Jodi was extremely helpful. She really took time with me and was great explaining things so that I was able to understand. I was very pleased. more

  • We offer specialized treatment programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury as well as other injury and illness. Our rehabilitation programs are centered around the individual needs of each patient to improve health, function and quality of life. Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities differ from other post-acute options most notably in the amount of therapy offered and medical oversight provided. We offer specialized therapy, rehab-trained nursing care, rehabilitation physician involvement and disease state management tailored to our patient population. Our patients receive at least 3 hours of therapy at least 5 days each week.
