My trucks Engine check light 9/2/2014

My trucks Engine check light started flashing and truck wouldn't keep running. Called University City service center and told them of the problem. They said to bring it in and they would take a look at it. Called AAA and had truck towed to service center. Truck arrived at service center on the 25th and was ready for pickup on the 26th. I was kept updated by Brian on the status at all time. This service center is outstanding. They are very professional and courteous personnel, and repairs are done at more than fair prices. Highly recommended. more

I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek 8/21/2014

I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek, which some think is two strikes... but University City Union 76 is keeping it going in top condition! Brian and his fellow mechanics are very respectful and kind in handling my repairs and routine maintenance! I moved away from UC, but I still bring my car to UC Union 76 ONLY! more

I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek, which some think is two strikes... but University City Union 76 is keeping it going in top condition! This University City Service Center is close to our home. We trust Brian and his crew to take good care of our cars and to keep us safe. We TRUST them and know they are honest. Other places have lied about the conditions of our cars urging us to agree to unnecessary work. Convenient, honest, trustworthy and good service! Thanks Brian and crew! more

I have taken my cars to uc service center 8/5/2014

I have taken my cars to uc service center for 5 years. Brian is a pleasure to work with when my car is in need of repair. I recently bought an 88 Honda accord with 70k miles on it and took it to Brian asking him to do a full inspection off the car and fix anything that was needed. He called me later that day and told me my car was in excellent shape and he charged me $35 for an oil change and tire rotation. He could have charged me anything and sure enough, 9 months later my Honda is purring like a kitten and running great. Martin and Brian are awesome and I highly recommend them to everyone. I live in PQ and drive 15 miles to take my car there. Being able to pick your car up until 10 pm is an added bonus more

I stopped going 7/31/2014

I stopped going to other dealerships for service because University City Service Center gave better service, more reliable information (never selling me anything), and was much quicker and more affordable. more

A friend of mine takes his car here I raved about them. So I took my '97 Chevrolet Venture to these gentlemen a couple times for some serious repairs: brakes, rack & pinion, power steering unit, water pump. They don't make Chevy's like they used. Anyway each time I was amazed at their professionalism, their courtesy, their honesty AND their decent prices. I would recommend these folks to anyone! Many, many thanks to all the guys at University City Service Center! You are great! more

I agree with the previous reviewer about it being a station where I don't feel the need to bring a guy along to keep from getting cheated. I have always felt like I was getting a fair price and a good explanation of what was wrong with my car more

  • University City Service Center Inc. has been providing quality car care in San Diego, CA since 1982. We are a family owned business delivering honest and professional automotive repair and auto maintenance services to the people of San Diego and surrounding areas. The quality ASE (automotive service excellence) certified technicians at University City Service Center Inc. employ today?s latest automotive technology and are equipped to handle all major and minor repairs on foreign and domestic vehicles. In reference to changes: At the end of August we have decided to sever ties with the 76 corporation and join with Shell. As far as the business is concerned we may have a couple of days to transition into the new system, but we will be doing every thing possible to keep from disrupting the normal day to day business. As far as the auto repair portion of the business, everything will remain the same. We are looking forward to the change and welcome everyone to come by to see the changes that will be made.
