I had gone to this service station 6/6/2014

I had gone to this service station a couple of times in the past do get my tire pressure checked. Immediately when I got there the mechanic Scott stopped what he was doing to help me. Since then I went in again for a tire and Scott was quick to help. He found where the problem was and patched it right away. He didn't charge me for this and he didn't accept tip. He ordered a new one for me, I came the next day and he fixed it right away. Fantastic, friendly service. I know I'll be going back to this place in the future if I need anything else done. more

My family has been 5/15/2014

My family has been going here for 25 years and I have been going since I started to drive-13 years. Brian and his crew give me peace of mind. When they say I need work done, I do it. I trust them because they have taken such good care of my cars and my parents' cars for so many decades. more

Car stopped running 5/8/2014

Car stopped running on the freeway and AAA towed me to this shop. So happy they did! They found the problem, fixed my car and got it back to me in one day. more

I've been enjoying 4/30/2014

I've been enjoying excellent care to my vehicles including Mazda Millenia and BMW 530i, working with Brian since 2008. Will definitely miss them when I move; an honest mechanic is so hard to find! more

I never would have 4/22/2014

I never would have imagined that the mechanics at the local gas station would be my go-to guys. But they were. They did a great job on every issue, from small to major. We will really miss Brian and his team. He is by far the best mechanic we've ever had. more

This place is great. 4/9/2014

This place is great. I had a wiring problem in my break lights. They fixed it about a month ago for a very reasonable price. Then all of a sudden last week it broke again. I took it back and they fixed it for FREE... not only did they do that but they drove me to and from work (at UCSD) for FREE as well. These guys are seriously the best. more

My maintenance needs have run the gamut over the years, from routine smog check and oil changes, to side-view mirror replacement and rotor repair, and everything in between. UC Service Center has met my each and every need promptly and at great prices. more

20 years 3/21/2014

Results 3/13/2014

The results are not always what I want to hear (as in, the brakes need work), but I've never been led astray on the work that's needed or the price. I trust Martin, Brian, and the gang to handle the repair needs of my kids' cars - and that's the best testimonial from any Mom! Thanks, Chad, Patrick, Pete, and the whole group for making sure that my kids are safe on the freeways of LA and SD more

  • University City Service Center Inc. has been providing quality car care in San Diego, CA since 1982. We are a family owned business delivering honest and professional automotive repair and auto maintenance services to the people of San Diego and surrounding areas. The quality ASE (automotive service excellence) certified technicians at University City Service Center Inc. employ today?s latest automotive technology and are equipped to handle all major and minor repairs on foreign and domestic vehicles. In reference to changes: At the end of August we have decided to sever ties with the 76 corporation and join with Shell. As far as the business is concerned we may have a couple of days to transition into the new system, but we will be doing every thing possible to keep from disrupting the normal day to day business. As far as the auto repair portion of the business, everything will remain the same. We are looking forward to the change and welcome everyone to come by to see the changes that will be made.
