If I could put zero stars I would. I too got roped into a contract that was told was the application. These people do not care about their customers whatsoever. Customer Service are the rudest people I've ever spoken to and they all say the same thing ""It's in the contract"". These people before me giving rave reviews saying the company is great are people working for them or being paid by them. I have yet to meet anyone satisfied with this company. I have a $25 minimum cc fee per month that must be met or I'm charged the difference. This they told me last month. This month I'm being told it's 2.9%. In my definition this is a breach of contract. They are about to get canned. And I WILL sue them while reporting them to the authorities. I won't go to the BBB because any company can buy their rating with the BBB. ABCs 20/20 proved that already in November. So, no BBB but will go higher than that. All the complaints with the BBB basically say that the company told ""it's in the contract to 74 complaints"" and for that they get an A+. more

Outstanding Costumer Service Every Time !!!! 8/24/2010

I am new to Unitedpayment Services (6 months), but have only great things to say. When I had trouble refunding money back to my clients account, Sean , Janett and Melissa assisted me thought out the whole process. I received a phone call the next day to reassure that the money went back into the clients account, and I found this very accommodating and business like. Another time when I needed to change my bank account, Sean and Janett made this transaction very easy for me. The costumer service is excellent; everybody is kind, friendly and very helpful. I am so glad I switched my merchant account to Unitedpayment Services not only am I saving money, I feel valued as a great costumer. Thank you to all who have given me GREAT support. more

I have had an awful experience with this company so far. Their customer service is horrible. They nickle and dime you every 3 months. They were also very misleading as far as what the actual package I was receiving would include. They bait you in to having to buy additional equipment. They force you to leave a message and then they call back from a blocked number. I would be very cautious in trusting your business and monies to this to this company. SHADY SHADY GANGSTER TACTICS! This company sucks. I have been doing business with them for a little over two months, and I have hated every minute of it. Don't believe the posts that obviously came from people who work for this pathetic organization. United Payment Services, and its employees, are arrogant and rude. Good customer service is definately not something that this company endeavors to proivide. I guess I should have realized this when I saw that they were affilated with Wells Fargo Bank. BEST IN BUSINESS 2/19/2009

We have been processing with this company for three years now and We are finding quite the opposite to all the complaints given below. We have been in business now for just over thirty years and been with several credit card processors. With that said, in dispute to the comments listed below of monies being held, this is part of accepting credit cards. I am glad that United Payment Services has a risk department that keeps their eye out for potential fraud. As for hidden fees, our agent described everything on the contract. If there were hidden fees then your agent failed to describe them to you. Not all agents are honest, but the company is great to deal with and We are glad we are with United Payment Services. Misleading and poor customer service 11/12/2008

This company will mislead you into signing a contract and not following through. Will tell you the equipment is free, and then say it's free to use. The contract you view online to sign, does not show tthe comments when the actual contract is received. Very poor customer service, from top management to people answering the phone. Stay far far away from this company. more

be aware that this company practices the art of teaching poodles (me) to jump through hoops before even discussing releasing your $. This company is making me wait over 6 months to hopefully get $3,000 they have of mine. They claim they can do anything they want to protect themselves. I have sent affadavits, proof of delivery and invoices and they still will not release my money. They send nothing in writing only nasty phone calls claiming their rights. Do not use this company. Horrible deceitful merchant services 7/16/2008

This company claims to be able to reduce the time needed to receive cash from merchat credit card processing when in fact they take TWICE the amount of time. Worse, they make you sign an agreement whereby they blatantly say 'no monthly fees' when in fact they've hidden such a clause. Beware! This is going to Calif AG! more

Very Sloppy Operation, Bad policies, communications and operations - for their customers anyway 6/25/2008

I have been using United Payment Services for about 1 yr. The rate was great. Then things started happening. On occassion batches took a day or 2 longer than supposed to to get to my bank. Last January a whole weeks worth of my receipts were held up. More recently delayed funding of my sales has been happening. I've called on several occasions and got different stories of why. The last straw for me was losing an $18,000.00 sale and United Payment Services holding up 2 weeks of my funds. I will admit, the $18,000.00 was very large sale for us, and it was from someone in Europe. I expected a delay on this transaction. What I didn't expect was all of our receipts since then have also been held, at least all Visa, Mastercard and debit card sales. Amex goes through. Before the sale, our client in Europe notified his bank to expect such a transaction and over the past 2 weeks has had numerous talks with his bank to inquire about the holdup. The money is out of his account, the bank claims it never received any transmittals from United Payment Services and My store is still waiting for 2 weeks of receipts to come in. Horrible customer service! Very cheap equipment! 12/6/2007

I have had an awful experience with this company so far. Their customer service is horrible. The equipment they sent me broke the first day I had it and when I sent it back to them they claimed I would have to pay $599 for a new terminal. They were also very misleading as far as what the actual package I was receiving would include. They bait you in to having to buy additional equipment. They force you to leave a message and then they call back from a blocked number. I would be very cautious in trusitng your business to this company.
