The food arrived quickly, they sent everything that I asked for and it was delicious and fresh. I have already ordered from here again. We order from here all of the time! Bay Ridge's Newest Masterpiece 5/12/2010

Went for dinner with my wife and another couple the other night and we were seated immediately.. The place was very clean and the staff very attentive. We ordered a bottle of White Zif for the table and the grilled octopus appetizer, it was fresh and tasty. \r \r For our entree we ordered 2 full racks of KC baby back ribs. WOW!!!!!!! they did not even fit on my plate! Fresh sides of rice and freshly made french fries were superb.\r \r For dessert our waiter divided up and presented us a nice tartuffo(is that how u spell it?) \r \r Overall this place is a must visit!!!!!! I will be returning. Pros: clean, friendly staff, fresh, large portions Cons: large portions not good for my diet :) more

AS A SUFFERING BAY RIDGER, I""VE BEEN WAITING FOR A BBQ JOINT FOR A WHILE NOW. WHEN I HEARD UJ'S WAS COMING I GOT PRETTY EXCITED. I WAS COMPLETELY DISSAPPOINTED WHEN MY ORDER WAS DELIVERED. THE MEATS WE HAD WERE DRY AND DEVOID OF THE WONDERFUL BURST OF BBQ SMELL YOU GET FROM SMOKED MEATS. THE MEATS WERE BONE DRY, TASTELESS, AND OUR ""PULLED"" PORK WAS ACTUALLY JUST CHUNKY CHOPPED PORK -(NOT SHREDDED)-THAT ONLY TASTED GOOD AFTER WE ADDED OUR OWN BBQ SAUCE- 'CAUSE THEY DIDN'T SEND ANY. THE DESERT ORDER OF CHEESCAKE WAS THE ABSOLUTE SMALLEST SLIVER I'VE EVER SEEN FROM A RESTAURANT AND WAS $5. ITS A SHAME THAT THE OWNERS EITHER DON'T KNOW- OR DON'T CARE TO KNOW HOW REAL BBQ IS PREPARED. ITS ALMOST AS IF THEY'RE HOPING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO EAT THERE HAVE NEVER HAD BBQ BEFORE, BECAUSE ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY DOES KNOW WHAT SERIOUS BBQ SHOULD TASTE LIKE WON'T GO THERE AGAIN. This place is AWESOME!!! To date I have ordered twice. Each time I ordered I was greatly satisfied. 1st---the delivery was usually fast considering the they are 3rd Ave and I'm on 11th Ave---2nd its a little pricey but for the quality of the food I didn't mind---3rd the food was absolutely Delicious!!! I had the pulled pork, brisket, shredded beef, and the skirt steak. Everything was amazing. Order the mac n cheese---you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend Jimmy's if want great tasting quality food. more
