Unbridaled

When I went in with my cousin and the other bridesmaids the sales associates were very snobby. We were a little late because we were given the wrong directions. We were rushed the entire time. They even told us all five bridesmaids would have to share one fitting room (which would not have been a big deal if they were friendly about it). When my cousin finally chose a dress the sales associates acted as if it was a chore to fill out all our information. We bought seven dresses, five of them were almost $400.00. They ordered the wrong size for me after I asked them not to. This was a horrible experience which should be fun! I would not recommend Unbridaled! more

Back in Oct I had made a reservation for my daughter who was in town for a very short time to do all of her stuff. Before she came I called to make an appt for her. I was given the first appt of the day on a Sat.I said how many there would be. I was told that where the first one on the list for that day. When we got there, there was no one there to help us. We were given one of the small dressigns rooms in the back. There were over 5 of us. Her maid of honor ended up having to help her get her dress on and off. Occasionally a sales woman would appear ask if we needed help and then would vanish. There was another bride in the large room. Which is where I had made an appt for. I was very upset and will never recomend this store to anyone. I have been to other stores and will recomend them. As a mother this was an exicting time for me. Especailly becasue she had just gotten back from Iraq safe and sound.The entire wedding party was upset by shuch terrible customer service. Cons: Terrible Service more

I had the greatest girls helping me.... they were so wonderful to me and all my brides maids. I too had a special order and they didn't have anything to do with the lateness of my dress arriving late!!! it was UPS!!! and the girls felt sorry for me and reimbursed me the rush fee...so I would still recommend Unbridaled to everyone I meet. I have heard so many great comments about Unbridaled from many people . In fact several of my friends have also purchased gowns from them as well with nothing but great things to say.\r I find it very hard to believe that anyone at that store would be that rude and not helpful.\r You be the judge............ more

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from this store, I needed to have the dresses rushed, as the standard delivery time was 14 weeks. I paid an extra 10% to have the dresses delivered in 10 weeks, which would have given me 3 weeks to have the dresses altered for my wedding. The owner, Kim, was helping me and she looked at her calendar as we were paying and stated 10 weeks from April 8th (the date I ordered the dresses) would be the third week in June, which was perfect. I did not receive the dresses for 12 weeks and I had only one week to have them altered. I called the store three times to inquire as to where the dresses were, and I was told the ten weeks did not begin until the order was received by the store making the dresses and then it took one week to deliver...one girl told me if she had been helping me the day I came in she would have told me to get the eight week rush, I found this strange considering the owner of the store advised me ten weeks would allow plenty of time for alterations. Long story short, I received the dresses July 1st instead of June 17th as promised, and my wedding was July 12th. No one at the store ever apologized for the dresses being so late, and honestly they were some of the rudest people I have had to deal with. I would not reccomend this store to anyone. more

The following statement is NOT an exaggeration: \r \r Kim, the owner of Unbridaled, is a lifesaver. \r \r I had a bride?s worst nightmare happen just 2 weeks before my wedding. I had hired a designer to make a unique dress for me and when I tried on what was to be the final product 2 weeks prior to my wedding, it was absolutely nothing like we had discussed, the material was the wrong color, the design was terrible and it was unflattering. \r \r I went into panic mode, called every bridal shop in town, looked on websites for white dresses and sent out desperate emails. Within less than 12 hours I heard a response from Kim who said that she would open her shop for me on Monday, a day it is usually closed. She suggested some designers that could ship in a week if they had my size in stock. I found 3 dresses I liked very much, we ordered one and within 1.5 hours the crisis was solved. The dress arrived the NEXT DAY and I had enough time for alterations. I loved the way I looked and received so many complements on my dress. \r \r I don?t wish this situation on anyone, but rather I would like to offer a piece of advice: Just avoid all the unnecessary hassle and go to Unbridaled first. They have a wonderful selection of unique, beautiful and affordable dresses, and an owner who truly cares about the happiness of her customers and not the sale. Kim won?t pressure you, but rather she will offer you wedding and marriage advice and support. It is absolutely worth your time to visit. \r \r I am so very grateful for her and her cute little shop. \r more

This whole experience was a nightmare. They ordered a dress 2 sizes too big for me then claimed I asked for that size! What woman asks for a dress two sizes too big? After having it cut down by my own tailor it was ill fitting and she even said one side was cut larger than the other. At $300 a piece this was no bargain. more

If you are really into big name designers only, then you probably won't find your dress here. If you are original, and think outside the box, you will find the dress of your dreams at Unbridaled. I spent months looking all over for a dress-- I even went to Chicago to visit a friend, and went to all of the well known bridal salons there... and found a bunch of beautiful dresses I REALLY liked (with huge price tags), but not one I absolutely loved. I was willing to pay money, but of course, at the same time the idea of NOT spending $$$$ was an obvious plus (you only wear it one night, girls!). I walked into Unbridaled, picked this dress out, and fell in love with it. Not only did I LOVE it, the price was amazing (under $1,000!!!). I definitely recommend at least checking out this store!!! I looked at every bridal boutique in Austin and I kept finding the same old dresses. I wanted something different, so I was pleasantly suprised to find this little gem in South Austin! Not only did I find a fabulous dress, it had a fabulous price! I actually thought they left a zero off of the tag! To top it off the owner was sooo nice. I am going back for my accessories and bridesmaid dresses. I highly recommend Unbridaled for all of your bridal needs. Pros: affordable, staff, awesome dresses! more
