They are worth their weight in platinum!\r We own one of the largest catering halls operating in Brooklyn. We have purchased from this company in excess of 40 years, and in the best sense of the words, this is a hands-on Mom and Pop concern, with special care given to their customer's needs.\r I can't tell you how many times I've called with an emergency and, somehow, these people are able to get us the supplies we need when we need them, even if it means throwing things in their car and driving to Brooklyn after work.\r The family is in their second generation of ownership, and the ""kids"" seem to have learned well that good customer service doesn't have a price tag.\r I am always tempted to shop for bargains, but where Twin Supply is concerned, price is secondary. \r When I need them they have always come through for us, and that is what is important when I am expecting 500 people on a Saturday night and the dishwasher has just dropped a rack full of champagne glasses.\r One phone call later, I'm asured that my guests will have their champagne toast thanks to this particular business. I wouldn't know who else to call that could come through for me.\r In my business I don't get a second chance to make a good first impression, so I need the help of people I can depend on, like those that own and run Twin Supply, and I'm very happy to have the opportunity to put it in print after all these years.\r Keep up the good work!\r more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! BEWARE!!! 1/17/2011

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME... The customer service was like nothing I had ever experienced. I called the store at 8:40 in the morning, a gentleman answered the phone, I asked him what time the store opened and he stated that the doors would be opened in 15/20 minutes. I jumped in my car and headed over there with child in tow. I got there at 9:25 and the door was locked. The sign on the door said that the store opens at 8:30 Monday thru Friday. I saw the gentleman sitting at the counter, I knocked on the door and he looked over at me but didn't move. A minute later, I saw him pick up the phone to make a phone call. I began knocking on the door again and he looked over at me standing outside and yelled ""hold on"". I mentioned that when I called he told me the store opened at 9 o'clock, why hasn't he come over to open the door yet. It's January in NYC and I'm standing outside in the freezing cold with my daughter and this man refuses to get up out of his seat and unlock the door. He had the audacity to say ""hold on a minute, don't aggravate me this morning"". I have been a resident of Staten Island all of my life and NEVER had I EVER been so DISRESPECTED by a store owner. I refuse to ever do business there. I walked away and drove over to STAR SUPPLY store (about 5 minutes away). The service was impecable, the prices was reasonable and I walked out of that store feeling good about every item purchased. The owner was so nice, he placed orders for all of the items that was not in the store and ensured that they would be delivered in time for my event that is taking place in 5 days. \r \r I have already informed family & friends of the horrible service received at this store and I hope that the readers take heed to the reviews. STAY AWAY! more
