This place really isn't all it's hyped up to be from other reviewers. It's a clicky neighborhood watering hole where everyone knows each other. If you're not from the area, you'll feel out of place. I was expecting a much larger bar, but the bar area is small and there's a pool table in the back. I've read some of the other reviewers on here mention that there is a great classic rock jukebox, but it really doesn't have a good selection. On their jukebox, I was at least expecting to see some CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Eagles, etc...... However, it mostly contained classic rock artists that never really made it big. I was a bit dissapointed. However, the beer prices were cheap and everyone seemed friendly. I may possibly go again if I happen to be in the area. Just your average neighborhood no-thrills tavern. Well... the last part of that is not true. You might feel bad about yourself the next morning but the bar has nothing to do with it. I spent my last birthday there. I had fun with my roomate and met some people that were freaky. The firttime there I saw while walking there a bowjb in progress across the street at the baseball field. and there was a lady of the night playing pool with a gigantic mole or boil on her asscrack. other then that it was a great place to get cheap drinks, a load of fun and, many visuals of the gritty side of life to carry me though the autumn nights. By far one of the best deals on Bedford Ave., a 32 oz. tub of Bud goes for $3.50 at this small and friendly hangout. Although you may find the styro-foam cups to lack a certain amount of class, you quickly learn to appreciate them when you reach the bottom of your gigantic beer and it's still cold. The jukebox is good, the pool is cheap and the video bowling is addictive. Early on the bar tends to be filled with an older crowd but they dissipate as the sun sets although a few dirty old men stick around to eye the Williamsburg youngsters that fill the bar at night. Overall a very friendly atmosphere and a fun place to hang out. more
