Best

Ok now, Tripoli was never a seafood joint- the reason for the decor is because the city of Tripoli is situated by the sea. The food here is delicious....it tastes just like home ...

Lovely, happy, tasty 10/30/2010

I love this restaurant, and have since I was little. It's such a homey place (even with the high ceilings) and the food is so tasty and reasonably priced. We love to come for birthdays and order the mezza. more

Best Lebanese food, other than my grandmother's! 5/17/2007

Ok now, Tripoli was never a seafood joint- the reason for the decor is because the city of Tripoli is situated by the sea. The food here is delicious....it tastes just like home cooked Lebanese food, and that's probably because it's a family owned and run business. The decor is maybe a little out dated but who cares, you're there for the food- I don't think anyone will be taking a bite out of a chair or anything like that. The prices are very fair. Not overpriced at all. This is the best Lebanese restaruant I have ever been too, food wise and price wise. Also, I didn't have a problem with the waiter, he actually gave me some dessert on the house. Will continue to return here for a long long time. more

food is very fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Ambiance is just ""ok"". 2/12/2007

\r The food here is beautiful: delicious, fresh and beautifully arranged. The decor needs updating. The restaurant appears to have been a seafood restaurant in a former life, as there are nautical looking ropes along the staircase to upper level. The bathrooms, and the stairs to get to them, also leave a bit to be desired. It is a pity that the decor/ambiance does not match the high quality of the food. Pros: food Cons: decor outdated and bathrooms not so nice more

Good Authentic Food 2/1/2003

The food here is very authentic middle-eastern Lebanese cuisine. The dishes are large and satisfying and the bill is very inexpensive for the quality of the food. The only odd thing about this place is that the restroom is 2 flights down in the basement. Other than that, it was great. Pros: good authentic food, very inexpensive more

Good but could be better 12/30/2002

The food is wonderful but I do agree that the waiter (it's ALWAYS the same guy whenever I've been there) doesn't exactly put you at ease. Pros: great food, decent prices Cons: weird waiter more

you should go here 8/12/2002

This is what it is all about. Middle Eastern food prepared in traditional style...best baba, hummas and taboli....wonderful hot dishes - lamb with pinenuts and spinach...eggplant with yogurt sauce - outstanding! worth the trip! Pros: great food, tasty/healthy dining more

  • Tripoli Restaurant's belief is that serving the best food is what kept us on the map since 1972. Our clients travel from all over because of our food. We the Salem family, are originally from the city of Tripoli in Lebanon. Coming to America, we noticed that the selection of Middle Eastern food was limited. It was a must to open a restaurant where you could get a good home-cooked Lebanese meal the way mom used to make it. Our extensive menu includes all the old favorites. From hummus that is rich with flavors of garlic and premium olive oil. A babaganouj that takes on a Smokey flavor, lebni & lamb prepared every which way, stuffed dumplings and more. Our olive oil is imported from an exclusive region in Lebanon, you can read more about it on our website. We are a B.Y.O.B. Whether it is a birthday party or any special event our private dining room fits upto 100 people. We welcome you!
