We are more than happy to provide veterinary medical records to any other veterinary clinic, groomer, etc... if the client gives us either verbal or written permission. If the client has not written in on the Client Information Sheet that they OK the release of records, we are not able to release records due to the confidentiality law we have to abide by until we speak with the client. There have also been times where we faxed the information SEVERAL times and still have the operation on the receiving end say they did not receive it, only to find that someone else in their office had the paperwork. \r Our clients are very important to us and we are here to be of service to them, not put up "roadblocks". \r In this particular case, we DO NOT HAVE A FILE for Bryanna E. The file was in another family members name. I took my dog to the office once in November and once in December and the treatment was wrong for my dogs. He did not take a test the doctor just give him the drug SMZ and shots both times. I took my dog to another doctor and three tests was done on the first visit and I was told that damage was done to my dog kidney. That is something that could have been catch about a month ago if the doctor would have tested my dog blood and urine. more

The office seems to set up road blocks making it difficult to share medical information on pets between veterinary clinics. This results in duplication of vaccinations and tests that weren't needed. Luckily my pets weren't in an emergency situation. Dr. Airhart could have obtained my written permission when I completed my initial paperwork to release medical records to other veterinary clinics when requested as they do in the human field. more

Doc Airhart is the best vet I have ever used for my pets. Love he and his staff. He is a highly competent, and caring vet. I live in Dallas, and go to Mesquite to see Doc when my pets need to visit the vet. Doc's the best. I have probably been going to him for about 11 years. Caring and friendly staff. Dr. Airhart has been a Mesquite Vet for many years. He knows his stuff. I now live in Fort Worth but still travel to Mesquite when my Boston Terrier needs a check-up. more
