Food was terrific as always. When I go in, the staff are always super nice and terrific. Unfortunately, the delivery was nearly a half hour late and I had to actually call to follow up on it. Made me regret the 20% tip I put on. I guess I won't do that again. But I will say that I will continue to eat there, just only when I have the time to go in myself. more

Pizza is one of my favorite foods, like top. However, this was the WORST pizza, onion ring (not even onion, is that mush they call onion center, and Mozz sticks) EVER!!! I threw all of it out after one bite!\r I ordered thin crust pizza, is was thick, doughy, chunky crushed tom (no seasoning), with cheap thin film they call cheese!! Truely the worst, most disappointing fast food experience! If they put that little effort into their food, with such sub par processed products, I would hate to see what their kitchen looks like! NIGHTMARE! more

As a corporate event planning company, we order tens of thousands of dollars of food every year. We recently ordered over $300 from Top Tomato for my boyfriends surprise party with no problems, but when we decided to try it for ourselves...wow, what an unpleasant ordeal. To make a long unpleasant story short...we never did get our order (GrubHub was great, and refunded our money), but the people at Top Tomato were rude, and really unpleasant to deal with. The fact that the order was over an hour and a half late on a TUESDAY night was remarkable...and they were unresponsive and eventually refused to deliver, because it got too late. Not only will we never order from them again, but will tell all of our business associates and friends of this experience. Since Philly Food Tours also stops at Top Tomato, we will make sure they also know of the crass, unprofessional people we had to deal with. It only takes one foul mouthed order taker to cost a company thousands. more

Not only did this take a long time, the order was completely wrong. They forgot the toppings on my pizza (which I paid for) and screwed up the drink order by bringing the wrong kind. I also about 3 phone calls from the delivery man, saying he couldn't come into the apartment building, when I never had an issue before. Not worth the hassle, or the wrong order. Ordered here before and nothing ever like this. more

The Coolest Pizza place in the city 4/18/2006

Everytime I am in Center city I always make sure to stop in Top Tomato Pizza. This place has the greatest decor I have ever seen, I mean this place was done perfect. The food is great, and the menu is very large, there is no way that you can not find some on it that will make you mouth water. I just can't wait to get back there agian. Pros: Decor, Clean, Friendy staff more

Great Cheesesteaks 9/29/2004

This Pizza Joint has great salads and custom pizzas as well as what I consider to be the Best Cheesesteak in Philadelphia. We usually call our orders in and they always have them ready for pick up in the time frame stated. They are located on a great block for entertainment if you plan on going out drinking after a meal. For a cheap meal I recommend Top Tomato Pros: Cheap, Good Quality more
