If you are reading this just stop and book Tomas. There is really no decision to make.\r \r I planned most of my wedding from Hawaii and spoke to a bunch of different photographers. It was hard to do from afar because I couldn't meet with them in person. When I browsed Tomas website and blog I pretty much knew I wanted him, I mean his photos are so real and beautiful but when I met with Tomas over the phone I knew immediately he was for us. My husband felt the same way. When you talk to him you'll know what I mean. He's just the right mix of fun and professional - AND he'll do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot. \r \r Over the course of planning Tomas helped us find other vendors (DJ, Hair, Makeup - which we were extremely happy with). He also went over every detail and had suggestions to make the day better, especially when we met with him a few days before the wedding and I was all over the place. Tomas really became our friend and we had so much fun every time we met and during the engagement session and day of.\r \r Our engagement session was so fun! He carted us around Chicago for a few hours and then did an 2 hour long session with our dog! At one point we were talking about our engagement and he said, let's go there and shoot some photos. It ended up being my most favorite shot. \r \r With Tomas you won't even know someone is taking your picture, except for those few standard portrait shots your mom insists on! He takes like lots photos so of course you can do as many traditional shots as you want, but let him go and he'll capture the true spirit of you and your wedding. His photographs are beautiful, creative and unique. I can spot his work immediately. \r \r He is also a bride's best friend! He'll make you feel totally comfortable, calm you down when you're nervous and tell you when your hair is out of place or if you have lipstick on your teeth. \r \r Everyone thought we had the coolest, most beautiful wedding pictures, my husband thought one of our engagement pics was the most beautiful he's ever seen of me. What more can you want!\r more

Choosing Tomas Ramos and his staff for our wedding and engagement photography was probably one of the best decisions we ever made during our wedding planning. His team of professional photographers is very well known in the commercial and wedding photography industry so we were confident that they would be amazing and they sure are! \r \r They are professional, talented, and patient! During our engagement session, he made us feel comfortable and was very focused on getting the shots that he envisioned for us. What's amazing about them is that not only are all of them passionate about what they do, they are very friendly and personable and we enjoyed each minute with them during our engagement shoot. They are not ordinary like others; they first talk to their clients and gets to know them so that site selections and environment settings are more personable and relevant to each couple. \r \r They are experts at what they do and will deliver you with memories that will last a lifetime. Throughout the chaos that happens during the wedding day, they were patient and I don't know how they do it, but just put us at ease while they captured those moments that were meant to be beautifully captured. \r \r Thank you for what you do and bringing us smiles!\r more

Tomas is a dream to work with. He's extremely professional, always on time and so very talented. He has a vision for photography that others can't see.\r \r As soon as I got engaged he's the first person I booked because I just knew my wedding photos wouldn't be the same if he wasn't my photographer. I was even willing to change my wedding date if he was booked!?\r \r ?My husband and I got married last year and the photos that Tomas took were breathtaking. I truly can't say enough good things about him. He went above and beyond on my wedding day. ??\r \r He works hard, caters to each client in every detail and is just a genuinely wonderful person....all of which is captured in his photography. I highly recommend shooting weddings, headshots, portfolio, kids and any life moment whit Tomas!!!?Thank you so much for your hard work my friend!\r \r \r Don't even bother looking elsewhere—hire Tomas. You won't be disappointed! =)\r more

Tomas is the embodiment of everything a wedding photographer should be. He is so easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable even on a stressful day.\r We had our portrait session in Venice, Italy and he knows the place like a local. Amazing how well know he is in Europe and his work speaks for itself. \r He captures moments not only in a special way, but also with much artistic flare. We had a great time and he shows us the best places and restaurants in the City. Our pictures were beautiful and we relive the emotion and joy of our big day every time we look at our wedding pictures. You will be nothing but satisfied if you go with Tomas as your wedding photographer. He and his associates are complete professionals and I would recommend him as photographer of weddings of all types. If I could, I would give him a score it would be 10 stars.""\r more

WOW. \r \r That pretty much sums up Tomas Ramos. Searching for a wedding photographer was a difficult task and we visited a lot of photographers to find the perfect fit with no luck. But once my wife and I came across Tomas, we knew the search had ended.\r From our first meeting with Misty in their amazing studio to our last photo on our wedding night, everything was perfect. The quality is superior and the documentary style brings a truly unique and custom feel to your day. I promise you Tomas is something special and you will see it in the way they work with you and the final product they deliver. \r Tomas is a truly talented person with an impeccable eye for beauty. He will amaze you in the way he works and the person that he is. Thanks for capturing our day with perfection.\r more

I'm a planner and hired Tomas Ramos for my own wedding photography in 1989 and he also took pictures of my daugther’s wedding in 2010. What better recommendation could I give? The way Tomas can fully capture and tell the story of a wedding day without words is incredible. Always a pleasure to work with. He have talent, creativity, and the personalized service they give to each client. more

My husband and I got married in December of 2006. Since we were both living in social, it was hard for us to actually go out and meet a photographer to book for our wedding which was going to be taking place in the bay area. So, what does any normal bride do? She sends her parents to check out the photographer and his work for her :) Luckily, my parents have great taste, and they called me back after getting a referral from a friend saying that they should look no further, fly in Tomas from Houston and don’t look back. After thinking about it, we decided...why not?\r \r What really got us hooked on Tomas at first was his reputation in other Countries. Imagine photographers from Texas that is hired to shoot weddings all over the world.. That awesome.\r \r \r \r The portrait session was awesome and on the wedding day. Tomas was incredible. You should see this guy work a room with no assistance!!! . I remember saying hi to him in the morning..And then the rest of the time getting ready, everything was totally candid. There were moments where I didn't even know he was around, but he got some amazing shot. He did a great job doing some more posed/traditional shots later that morning too and those came out fantastic. \r \r During our ceremony, I knew that I wanted a photographer that would be pretty much invisible to my husband and me and the guests. I've been to soooo many weddings where the photographers are EVERYWHERE...on the stage, at the front of the aisle, stepping on dresses, pretty much distracting all the guests' attention away from the couple...and I knew that I didn't want that at my wedding. I don't know how he did it, but he managed to stay invisible during the ceremony, but at the same time, he captured all the perfect moments of our wedding.\r \r Throughout the day, he just really did a good job in balancing the time he spent taking traditional photos and more photo journalistic photos..All of which I was really happy about. Throughout the day, after getting all the formal pictures taken that we wanted, he spent the rest of the day capturing us and our emotions without us even knowing it :)\r \r Post wedding...I remember that Tomas worked FAST. Shortly after we returned from our honeymoon, we had an email waiting with our pictures ready to view! We selected our favorite pictures for him to make our album.\r \r Just when I thought things couldn't get any better...his team designs this GORGEOUS wedding album for us! I'm always so excited to show our wedding album to people when they come over :) Speaking of which...I think I'm going to go have a lookie at it right now! \r more

Tomas and his team are incomparable in the realm of photography. \r They don't just provide what I believe is the best photography I have ever seen, but they become Friends and give you the feeling of being a part of your extended Family.\r They will cater to your every need. The time we spent with Tomas & Misty and their team taking our pictures leading up to the Wedding as well as on our special day, was some of the most fun parts of our memories! Our Bridal party and Family agree! Our candid pictures from our Engagement shoot as well as our Wedding are unlike anything I have ever seen or could even dream up, he truly captures every moment of your most special day. This is the best money we spent on our Wedding! Photographers to the stars have nothing on Tomas and his team!\r more

We had our engagement session and had so much fun. First let me tell you our little story. About a month and a half ago we had our e-session with another photographer and 4 weeks later I received the pictures and burst out in tears because they were so horrible. We were so far away that you couldn't recognize us, the pictures weren't crisp, the colors weren't vibrant, and the sun was beaming on my fiancés bald head that there were many photographs where it looked like he had a cone head or that part of his head was missing. I called the company crying and cancelled them for my wedding.\r They even had the nerve to tell me that they didn't think that the pictures were bad or blurry but that we were just far away. They even offered to send it back to editing! I told them that if they sent these pictures to me and think that they were good enough to send....then that was a problem in itself. I take better pictures on my Samsung Galaxy phone and then photo shopping and adding effects me then they did. At the end of the day I was out a $750 cancellation fee, engagement photos that were unusable, and a wedding coming up in 4 months with no photographer. \r \r After doing some research (after my incident), I found Tomas Ramos and decided to use them for our session. They had the style that I was looking for... \r \r We took the pictures and it went perfect. Tomas made us feel so comfortable and he was funny. He had several different cameras that he used constantly changed between the two and used many different angles to get unique shots. There was a world of difference in experience and techniques used between Tomas and our first photographer. Then explained how based on the sun and the lighting, a photographer can't just take a picture because it can leave weird shadows on the face and how it can also affect the exposure. Our first photographer obviously didn't know this and that is why all of our pictures turned out so bad. We also found out that Tomas was a very popular teacher and one of the best known photographers in Europe. WOW!!!\r \r Thank you Tomas for a great and fun engagement session. Part 2 review will come once I receive the pictures.\r \r PART 2 REVIEW\r \r We just received our photos in just 7 days (told it would take 2-3 weeks) can I just say A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and WOW. I'm so beyond happy with our pictures. Our issue now is which photos to use for the invitations and the guest table. We had to walk away from viewing the pictures and take a breath because they were just too much to handle. He captured such great moments and expressions that it wasn’t Posey or cheesy at all. It was very natural and we were the star of the photos...not the background. \r \r I think I've viewed the photo gallery more than 10 times today. There are a few pictures where my fiancé is jumping up and I'm holding him down....he looks like superman flying off into the sky. It's totally hilarious and makes me laugh every time I look at it. There are also ones where we're just walking and holding hands....very sweet and natural. I've also shared my favorites with a few friends and they cried! One friend also pointed out a specific picture and said ""It has magazine written all over it"". \r \r Thank you so much for the smile you put on my face! I feel like a little kid on Christmas Day.\r more

Tomas did a phenomenal job for our Indian wedding. My husband is very particular about photography, and he was really impressed with knowledge about Indian culture plus the fact that clients hire him to go to India on a regular basis.\r You can see from his website that he's an amazing photographer. But for a wedding, you need photographers that are really great at being present without being obvious and someone who can keep his cool when working with large groups of (not always cooperative) people.\r Trying to coordinate members of my family is particularly difficult, and Tomas has clearly mastered staying cool when other people suggest how people should be positioned for a photo. He also did an excellent job of being discreet in the bridal prep room, taking photos from a distance, but zooming in, so he wouldn't interfere with those of us getting ready. \r We had a lot of questions leading up to the wedding because we just didn't know how a lot of wedding details worked, but Tomas was always responsive and easy to work with. We had an incredible experience with Tomas and and would wholeheartedly recommend them for any event!\r more

Prepare yourself.\r \r Because I am about to wax poetic about Tomas and sing him praises in a way that might leave you asking yourself, seriously, can a photographer be THAT good? And my answer is this: Yes, a photographer really can be so truly, achingly talented as to warrant this kind of adoration and reverence.\r \r ??I'm here to tell you today not only about the obvious, that is, Tomas sublime talent behind the camera, but also about his abundant capacity for being a wonderful kind-hearted person. I truly think that Tomas gift for seeing the beauty in everything and his ability to capture the essence of a moment in time is because his heart is filled with goodness and love for the people that are lucky enough to work with him.\r \r Tomas isn't just photographing your event as a job; he sees that the event--whether your engagement, the birth of a child, a wedding or a golden anniversary--is a momentous occasion in your life, something not to be trifled with, and he works tirelessly to make sure that every time you look back at his images documenting that occasion, you will be flooded with emotions that run so deep and are so palpable that it is as if you are reliving the moment for the first time all over again. \r \r ??When I first looked into hiring Tomas Ramos, I couldn't find a single review for him . Perhaps the absence of reviews is a testament to how utterly talented and in demand he is. If you are reading this, you have already seen his work in countless magazines and for legions of celebrities that shall remain nameless. His work, simply, speaks for itself. ??So, what more can I add? ??I can add that despite having his work published so often it's routine and despite working with people whose names ARE household names, Tomas not for one second lets it go to his head. Instead, on the day of our wedding Tomas showed up early and passionately without a moments rest for 9 hours straight. \r \r ?? While the day was otherwise frenetic, the moments we spent with Tomas were so serene and relaxed that they gave us a momentary respite from all the action and a much-needed opportunity to reflect. ??As if his talent itself were not enough. In addition, Tomas was so easy going and soft about giving direction that we didn't even notice that he was giving us direction. But, the proof is in the pudding, and when we got our photos from him we saw the nuances of his direction and that each photo was more heartbreakingly beautiful and natural than the last. ??I truly cannot say enough good things about Tomas Ramos. No words can do him justice. We were so lucky to have had him shoot our wedding and we would choose him all over again a thousand times if given the opportunity\r more

I consider myself super lucky to have found Tomas online prior to my wedding. \r \r He was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding process. After all, the photos are all you're left with at the end of the day. ??He's AMAZING in his talent and creativity. \r ??What blew my mind was when my husband and I were taken away for a quick shoot during the time between the ceremony and reception. He drove us to the side of a road somewhere near the venue. I looked out and saw what looked like horrible grown out weeds everywhere that came up as high as my hip. We walked through the mess trusting he knew what he was doing. When I finally saw the photos, I couldn't believe my eyes.\r \r He made it look as though we were in some faraway beautiful land that you'd only see in the movies or travel magazines. Similar to the scene in Gladiator where the wife and kids are walking through the yellow field. If that's not creativity, then I don't know what is. Making something so lifeless look beautiful through a photo is pure talent.\r more

Wonderful again and again \r \r You know that sigh of relief you get when you find the right person for any job...or that great feeling you get once you meet someone amazing? Tomas was just this amazing feeling. \r ??When I booked my wedding venue in a few months ago, they gave me a vendor contact sheet with about 100 different vendors for catering, photography, party rentals and all that good stuff (if you were a bride you know exactly what im talking about!) and we got most of our vendors from that list. ??For some reason though finding a photographer was absolute hell.\r \r They all either charged an arm and a kidney, or just sounded weird on the phone or had some crazy conditions like they didn’t want to take over 500 photos at an 8 hour event....crazy!??I started doing my own searching my friend gave me Tomas number. ?I immediately fell in love with him over the phone. He was such a pleasure to talk to. Very polite and funny and I already mentally booked him, but I wanted to go meet him first. ??I met up with him at his studio and was blown away by the pictures he showed me. Each one captured emotion and special moments beautifully. \r \r ?He put out food and drinks and just an absolute gentleman. ??During the wedding he was all over the place (just the way I like it). Running, crouching, leaning getting all the awesome shots that I forgot even happened. My wedding pictures came out terrific.\r ?Our wedding lasted an extra hour, and Tomas didn’t charge us for it. I really don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to describe how amazing he was. ??We got our pictures in an album about and they were a work of art. \r \r Tomas Thank you for such a great experience\r more

Tomas is gifted with the briliance of a great master, and extraordinary professional savvy--but, more, he is a passionate student of human nature and experience. So, the end result of his photography is ""beauty personified"" coupled with a poignant encounter for the beholder! If only we had more space to expound on our experience with Tomas in his seminars , but, suffice it to say that their presence with us, on such a significant day, has a profound and lasting affect. By their genuine sensitivities, we not only invited them into our family's most intimate spaces and moments, but it was as if we had always known them there. We have lovely images, captured for all time now.... and then, hear this, for it is true..we are inspired to be better people for this association. We wish the same for all who read this recommendation. more

Best of the Best\r \r When it comes to picking your wedding photographer, you just don't have a second chance. No matter how amazing the venue, caterer, DJ, party - ANYTHING - the most tangible and lasting memories will be those captured by your photographer.\r \r My wife and I feel overwhelmingly blessed and fortunate that we chose Tomas as our photographer for our wedding at BR Cohn in Sonoma, CA. We were first impressed by his reputation Worldwide as one of the celebrated photographers in the World, as it not only demonstrated his vast range and ability to capture the perfect moment in any situation, but it reflected exactly the kind of style we wanted: natural, authentic, in-the-moment, and memorable.\r \r Tomas made a great impression from the very first point of contact: responsive, friendly, and open to finding out what worked best for us. We also appreciated the fact that he made an effort to connect with us on a personal level, as it really made a difference to us that he wanted to get to know us as a couple, rather than just ""another client"".\r \r When it came to the day of the wedding, you could not hope for anything more. he knew the day's itinerary like the back of his hand (and admittedly, better than I did and many other of our vendors!), and was able to comfortably make his way to every crucial moment, position hiself in the best spots, and capture every key memory that you knew (and many you didn't know!) you wanted to be captured. I also love the candid moments he was able to photograph, the kind of shots that separated our wedding from all the others, the kind that made our special day feel truly unique and one-of-a-kind.\r \r When we received our proofs, the results took our breath away. Tomas went beyond taking the standard, cookie-cutter poses that litter wedding blogs and magazines alike. I don't know how he does it, but he had the uncanny ability to capture not just our best side, but our most genuine and heart felt moments and emotions. Years and years down the road, these are the kind of pictures where my wife and I will be able to look back on and not just remember what our wedding cake or venue looked like, but the kind of pictures that will bring back and let us re-live the same feelings of pure joy and elation that we felt on that special day. \r \r Tomas, Victoria and I owe you our heartfelt thanks. For everyone else, you could not hope for anyone better than Tomas to immortalize this once-in-a-lifetime event in your life.\r more

Great Service\r I looked all over the Internet at hundreds of portfolios for the perfect photographer for our wedding. My husband and I had a specific style in mind and knew exactly what we wanted in our photos - street shots in San Francisco including unique pictures with different angles. We didn't want the typical stand and smile posed pictures.\r \r Photography and location were our two biggest priorities for our wedding. Our thought process was - it's a special day, we want someone who knows how to capture us as a couple and the city we met in. We needed to find someone in tune with our vision. \r \r My husband and I had a small wedding - only 26 people for what we planned on a Friday afternoon. Mostly just the two of us and we only wanted the photos on a website and a photo CD so we could print out what we wanted.\r \r When interviewing photographers my main concerns were: flexibility, and their attitude towards the photos. \r \r When I first contacted their studios with my requests, Misty responded almost immediately and answered all my questions. She offered me an elopement package and even let me add extra time and locations around the city. I didn't even spend my entire budget!\r \r We discussed my vision and she also made suggestions for alternate locations which were greatly appreciated. She is easy to communicate with, flexible, and answers emails within a few hours.\r \r Our pictures came out better than we even expected! We couldn't be happier with our choice in Tomas Ramos. Our photos are the proof of his talent. We get compliments all the time on our wedding pictures. I HIGHLY recommend Tomas for your special event. You will be well taken care of - his talent is truly amazing.\r \r Thank you again Kim\r more

Best experience ever \r \r We were referred to Tomas by a photographer in London who was booked for our day and attended his seminars on his British tour.\r \r It is so impressive that a photographer from Texas is so popular in Europe. He recommended places for our engagement session in Paris and he knows the City like he lived there all his life.\r \r We had so much fun with him at the wedding and he was being requested by our friends for their future weddings.\r The pictures are marvelous and we are extremely please with the results and his attention to detail. He is now our family photographer.\r \r Bravo Tomas more
