My wife and I always service our cars at Transmission Inc whenever we have a problem, and even sometimes when we don’t! I remember once my wife was complaining that the back windows wouldn’t roll down in her Nissan Xterra so I took it into the shop to get it looked at. I explained the problem, and about 5 minutes later they came back to me and said that the child safety lock was switched on and that was prohibiting the windows from functioning in the back. I sure felt a little embarrassed but I’m glad they looked for the obvious reasons first instead of running costly diagnostics and tests. I drove out of there one minute later, and not a penny spent for their time. Honest and smart workers. more

Doesn't get much better. 4/28/2010

I have purchased three sets of timre through them. Always had good service. Last rotation my brakes felt a littel spongy. I eplained that it may be time for new pads and asked the price. After they inspected the brakes, they explained that my truck was not ready for new brakes yet and they should be fine for several thousand more miles. What??? They just passed up a sale! But, they have me as a customer for as long as I live here. They now also have my grown children as customers. Other service companies, take note of this and see how it's done! This is the way to do business and keep customers. more

Tire World Inc is Very Good 12/4/2009

I had bought new tires in Nashville and was on my way home when I noticed my tire was going flat. I had never been to Tire World before but saw it as my tire was going flat. I pulled in and explained what was going on. They came out and looked at it and the tire valve stem was leeking air. They took it in and changed out the valve stem. I ask how much I owed and they didn't even charge me. They said it wasn't the fault of who I bought it from it was just something that happens from time to time. Since then I have been a loyal customer. I checked around and their tire prices are actaully cheeper than the Firestone. I would highly recommend. more

Have done business with Tire World (Smyrna) now for quite some time and would recommend them without any reservations. Prices are competitive and work has been excellent. more

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO TIRE WORLD SINCE AS LONG AS THEY HAVE BEEN IN SERVICE.THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A GOOD JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER.FAIR PRICED TOO.YOU WANT GO WRONG WITH THEM. more

Wear and Tear on the Tires? 11/28/2005

I have been a customer of Tire World for years. The staff have always treated me with respect. They will rotate your tires for free if you purchase your tires from them. It is a first come, first serve business and I have always had speedy, yet quality service from Tire World. They offer the name brand tires you see at all of the chains. more

Honest place to go 10/30/2005

I agree with the other reviews. For a long timeI have looked for a place to take my car that I felt would not be dis-honest. This place is great. I have all confidence that they will not try to take advantage of you. They even came to my home to repair a flat once. PROS: honest management/owners CONS: NONE AT THIS TIME more

These are the most honest hard working people that I have ever met! They tell you the honest truth about your car tire or brakes. I was so happy to work with them. They also help sponosr some of the leagues in our area. I would recommend them to anyone needing new tires. Open a credit card there, they have GREAT deals! more

Good honest people work here, they get to your car very quickly & have reasonable prices on everything they do. Open on Saturdays which is a plus. They also have great prices on tires. more
