I've lived on Oahu for 4yrs and haven't found a single place with a more friendly wait staff or better ""southern"" style food. The menu selections are varied and the bar is always fast and the drinks are not weak. I would recomend Dixies to anyone who likes their ribs tastey and their crab fresh. If you are from the south don't worry they have Sweet Tea.....and to my knowledge are the only place on the Islands with it, so take Dixies unique atmosphere in and enjoy. Pros: Unique atmosphere, Very friendly wait staff Cons: not much parking because of location and growth around location more

Room Service in Paradise 10/22/2002

I ordered Dixie Grill food via the new ""Room Service in Paradise"" company. It took about an hour to get our food, but it was hot and fresh. The fried chicken was good and the salad, mashed potatoes and pecan pie were very good. Portions were generous. I would recommend both the Dixie Grill and the Room Service in Paradise company to deliver it to your door, just order early. I am unable to accurately rate ambience since I did not go to the actual restaurant. Pros: Fair prices, Delivery available, Tasty & large portion more

Casusal Dining at its Best 10/6/2002

Dixie's offers good food for a reasonable price. The staff is quick in filling your order. If you are a crab lover this is the place for you. Casual atmosphere, parking is okay. Cons: Crowded, Not a lot of Parking more
