How Cute! 5/9/2012

You'll love the Center. For the record Jayt a.k.a. Denelle M. Grandmother of James...who gives the Center a one star on this site recommended me. I say Thank you everyday for this recommendation. Denell got mad at the Center because by law they had to call C.P.S. for two reasons 1. The parents of James are handicapped and they reported that another adult in the home was ""mean to them"" 2. Denell herself came into the Center covered in extreme bruises. Given Denell is a grandma with handicapped adults and a two year old in the home the Center was looking out for the family. Denell went so far as to call Child Care Licensing who showed up, unannounced at 4:29 on Thursday with multiple inspectors and guess what....the Center got a perfect 100% and had double the staffing required. Again Denell M. a.k.a. Jayt personally recommended me. Do not trust her review, do not trust any review sites, do not trust my review. See for yourself, check with Child Care licensing the Centers record is spotless. allyjohnson_76@yahoo my e-mail because I am truthful more

MULTIPLE INJURIES 4/19/2012

MY child sustained multiple bite, scratch, hit injuries that were sometimes documented and other times no one knew what happened . The facility moved my child to reduce the events saying the class was full and the move would be better. Not True..It continued and still events were intermittently documented or the paperwork would appear after we complained. The last injury needed to be seen in a instant care. the fingers had been smashed. no one knew what had happpened. The finger nail was dangling off the finger. No write up and the director said ...well you know we cant watch all the children all the time .... What do I pay for then ! more

Rude People 12/9/2011

I was calling around to different day care providers in the area where we are moving into to see about rates that they charge. I called and I gave the ages of my three children and I was asked what school my oldest would be attending and I told the man that answered the phone that I wasn't quite sure what the name of the school was due to the fact that we haven't moved to our new home yet but the day care was in our neighborhood. The man would not give me any information till I told him the name of the school. I repeated three times that I was not sure of the name, we hadn't moved in yet. After the third time with the man on the phone becoming increasing ruder and raising his voice at me I told him that I would NEVER place my children at my place that was so hostile and rude. I felt as if I was being bullied and isn't that something that we are working diligently at is reducing bullying.I felt as if I was being bullied because I could not remember the name of the Elementary school my daughter was going to be starting. more

Worst Day Care Ever 12/5/2011

This was the worse place in the world. My kids went there for 4 days, before I pulled them. In the 4 days that my kids went there they tried charging me for time that my children was not there. My 4 year old was crying every time I picked her up because she was being beat up by some of he other kids in her class. And they never did anything to stop it. After I pulled my kids from the facility they tried to collect an additional $1'000 from me. I highly recommend not taking your kids to this facility. more

Unethical Stay Away 9/28/2011

OK, so I would not and have not ever taken my child here. The reason I am posting a review is because I have heard some disturbing things about this daycare. The problem is, it would be unethical for me to pass on a third party story, just as it would be unethical for a business to rate itself. If you read the reviews all of the positive reviews were from staff. Talk to real parents at the daycare you are thinking about. Nevery the daycare, they are biased and just want to stay in business. more

HATS OFF TO A TERRIFIC STAFF!!! 1/18/2011

My children are learning so much I almost can't keep up with them. They want to cook when they come home, they sing a new song most every day, they are into recycling and showing curiosity about everything. I have one that fusses every morning at drop off time but he never wants to go at the end of the day. There are so many activities that are provided that unless parents asks alot of questions they would never know their child does. Class rooms are Large in that eachroom is built to accomodate between two and four Classes of a particulate age. Staff are so patient in working with children of different abilities and backgrounds. There are four Languages spoken by children in my sons class room area, two children with disabilities and three with ADD or ADHD. I know this because I volunteer 10 hours a week in the class area between the three groups or classes. There are eight Languages spoken between staff members. Children who speak a Language other than English are put together with other children who can traslate or Staff who can translate. I have seen pictures where Staff are invited to the homes of, weddings and Specil Events of the children and their families. How cool is this. more

We are very Thankful we found them. 1/18/2011

We were new to the State a few years ago. We were immediately made to feel welcome. The Center helped us with Community Resources, Gave us information on who was hiring in the area, even gave us the scoop on places to live and the best schools for our children. I normally would not know about a site such as this but in recent Parent Teacher Conferences Clients were asked how they had originally found the Center. The Internet came up as several Clients response and Negative Unfair Postings became the subject. We were shown several which I found to be deliberately misleading. For those who would Crawl about in the Murkiness of Anonymity and post such Untruths I feel sorry for. I feel even more sorry for the person who reads these untruths and decides not to investigate for themselves. You may have chosen a Provider who is not nearly as good as Tilley Time is because of a falseity. These sites do not care nor do they monitor or verify the postings. The site simply has set up a way to make money by how many people sign up as members. Of course everyone should find out as much as possible, that includes going in and seeing for your self. I have been extremley happy with the services I recieve. I love the Staff especially Samantha, Shagufta and Angelica. more

You will be Astounded!!! 1/17/2011

You are at ease the moment you enter the Center. Clean, bright, decorated Office Entry Area, Friendly, helpful Staff greeting Clients as they come and go (I found Samantha the Diretor to be extremely kind, caring and helpful, the Night Supervisor Elisa was also). A Security Door is the first stop to entering, then a Finger Print System is used to check children in and out. Immediately upon entering the Childrens Area there is a Large Beautiful Indoor Gym decorated in bright inviting colors, themed with built in playhouses from a Hospital to a Cabin with play equipment to match allowing children to explore and have many choices of activities. you'l l simply love this place! more

Not for kids with ADD or ADHD 8/20/2010

No Structure was provided at this Day Care. Why do the job, when it's easier to just suspend! If you have kids with behavior problems no matter how minor, Putting them here will only result in You missing work. They Let Kids Fight just so they can kick them out and keep your money. this is FACT. more

Awful place 4/13/2010

This daycare is an absolute nightmare. The morbidly obese cow Samantha is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have witnessed her screaming at a child that was most likely not even 2 years old at the top of her lungs loud enough for my hearing to be impaired. There are a few great teachers, but most of the staff is white trash. Pros: Leaving Cons: The stafff, teachers, other parents. more

Neglectful Daycare!!! 2/16/2010

I had my son in Tilley Time over a year and a half ago. He was only there for about 5 months. The first couple months I did not see any major problems. Until I switched my schedule to an early morning schedule. A couple things happened. First i started noticing how lazy the staff was. I would pickup my son who was only 1 1/2 years old and he would have snot glued to his face. Dried and you can tell his face had not been wiped in hours. They would lose his clothes, shoes, diapers, wipes. I would always bring extra diapers everyday. And if any parents were out of diapers i gave permission to allow them to use my diapers if needed. I got accused of not bringing diapers for my son and being charged $5.00 a diaper for the center using theres. when they were using mine. My son had multiple times that he had sunburns from being outside and I did put sunscreen on in the morning as they directed. But was not allowed to leave the teachers with sunscreen for throughout the day, which i thought was bullcrap because sunscreen does not last allday. So when my son went out later he had no sunscreen on, it had worn off. On top of it when I started bringing my son on saturdays and sundays. I noticed the daycare teacher was sleeping most the time when I dropped my son off at 5:30 in the morning. Now I understand that most kids would be sleeping at that time. But she was being paid to take care of our children,, not to sleep. She should have always been awake. It always made me nervous because they are right on that main street and a kid could just walk out the door without her noticing it because she certainly would not wake up when i dropped my kid off. It only took a few weeks of that before i got fed up. The final draw was when i picked up my son and was getting ready to walk out the building i noticed he had something in his mouth and i knew he was too young to have hard candy, so i put my finger in his mouth a pried out a rock the size of a quarter. The director was not there. So i talked to her about it the next day. She said that kids will be kids. That they dont have that much control over what they do when they are outside. That If i didnt notice it till i was getting ready to walk out that the teacher probably didnt notice it either. I could not believe it !!!! not even an apology, that it will never happen again!!!! That was it!!! I gave my 2 week notice and found a wonderful day care that my child has been at for a year and a half and is going to stay until he is in kindergarten called Puddle Jumpers. If you want your child to be happy and safe DO NOT put them in Tilley Time, take them to Puddle Jumpers. Tilley Time may be cheap but thats exactly what you get. Cheap daycare and low standards, neglectful teachers and uncaring staff. Pros: Cheap Cons: Neglectful staff, Director dismisses parents more

overcrowded daycare at best 2/9/2009

I sent my children to this ""daycare/preschool because of all the rave reviews they gave themselfs. My children were enrolled there for two months. I appreciate that they have puppet shows and other activities for the children, however there was not any personal attention given to either one of my children. I would be surprised if they even knew their names. The class sizes were ridiculous. Around 30 children in each class. My son was not given proper education. His phonics cards were sent home with scribbles on them, as if they gave him crayolas and told him to do as he pleases. My five year old's projects and learning activities were the same my three year old was doing. Unacceptable. Not only was the education something I was furious about, my son's belongings were stolen constantly with the employees not seeming to care very much. Occasionally the other teacher in my sons classroom of thirty was a non english speaking lady. Another time I caught one of the teachers yelling out of control at another child. After the school aged children came to the center, my five year old was placed in a room with much older children, whom taught him vulgar jokes. The last straw was when the ""teachers"" accused him of stealing another childs money for snack time. My son would have money every week for friday snack. The last friday he was there another child accused him of stealing her money. Instead of calling the parents, they gave the little girl his money and had him up front reprimanding him for stealing. When i arrived at the center they were rude and expressed they ""guess"" they believed me and would give him a dollar. Not only did my child have money every week but occasionally would bring extra in case someone didnt have any, as there are also many misfortunate children. All together i find this center more focused on packing as many children as they can in there, rather then teaching them any educational skills. I hope centers like this will soon be a thing of the past. Pros: Open saturdays Cons: Over crowded class size. Poor education. more

This center is the BEST in the state. State of the art security, cameras, and an excellent staff with more education and training than any other center we have ever been to, including multiple staff members with college degrees and 75% or more of the staff with 1600% higher training than the state of utah requires to work in childcare! Yes you read that correctly 1600% higher and the remaining staff are working towards that level! We never settle for licensings standards.. We go way beyond! simply because their rules are not good enough for us! Pros: High Security, Low Cost, Highly Trained Staff! Cons: None! more

Lame, Lame, Lame! 8/12/2008

Pros: Nice building, nice play area, need a code to get in the door Cons: Teacher in toddler class don't speak english, owner and certain staff members extrememly rude, tuition too high for not teaching anything, etc. more
