The isolation tank was absolutely amazing. If you take Pilates, this is the best way to achieve that neutral position in your spine. It was my first time going in the tank so it took my body and mind some time to adjust, but it's great for soothing your muscles and mind. It relieved so much stress in my muscles and it was the perfect place to meditate. I felt so zen by the time I came out. If you thought laying in bed after a stressful day was great, then you've been missing out on the float tank. I'm definitely going back for more sessions. more

Amazing experience! I have been getting shiatsu and deep tissue massages for many years and my experience at Wellness Center was the best I have ever had. Great atmosphere. The therapist I saw really knew what she was doing. They are very well-equipped... hot oil, heated massage tables, etc. I went there for an emergency... I was having back spasms and I couldn't get in with my regular therapist. I will DEFINITELY be going back often. more

The Wellness Center is great! The atmosphere is comfortable, clean and inviting and the staff is super friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and look forward to trying out the flotation tanks sometime. Looking forward to my next visit soon! more

This place is a great find! It is a little tucked away, but worth navigating to! Very relaxing environment, they give you tea at the begining and I have been here now twice for prenatual massages and both times I have felt renewed and energized. Well priced and very clean. more

I recommend The Wellness Center to anyone who is looking for a relaxing environment and very caring therapists and office staff. I felt well cared for by my massage therapist. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire massage and she set the room environment to my preference. I plan to go back very soon! more

Great find for wellness experience 11/23/2011

I went to the Wellness Center looking for an isolation tank and they were the only ones in the Twin Cities that had one. What I found instead was a great place that's been here for 35 years. It has more of an enlightenment feel to it than an Aveda salon feel. Since that first visit, I've become a regular and am off to get a massage and have another float in the tank today. Check it out! more

Float your troubles away... 9/20/2011

The Isolation Tank (Float Tank) was awesome! I always wanted to try it and finally did. Im going back next week for my third session and cant wait. If your ever wanted to try something different that can help you sort through the clutter and stress in your head while relaxing your muscles and entire body....try floating...each expirence is unique. The Wellness Center provides a clean friendly environment with a knowledgeable staff. more

Best place for a massage 9/14/2011

I discovered the Wellness Center via my niece who is a RN. Over the years I have met only great massage therapists. My newest discovery is Alyson. I met her last year at the Bluegrass Festival at Minnehaha Park giving free chair massages and she was so professional and knowledgable that have been to the center several times for her help. Each visit I have her full attention as she concentrates on the areas I feel need the most attention and then go on to find areas I didn't even know needed help.. I am thrilled to now have two wonderful helpers at the Wellness Center and I really need both Alyson and Jacqui! more

The Wellness Center is tucked away in a quiet area, but it's a glorious place with top-rate professional service. I found out about it through a Travelzoo coupon, and have had one massage there. Through the coupon, it entitled me to a one-month membership there. I have to say, I was particularly impressed with both the quality of my massage, and also the extreme helpfulness of all staff there. Not to mention, the professionalism that's on proud display. The building itself exudes tranquility and relaxation, and my masseuse was absolutely wonderful (ask for Jacque!). By far the most relaxed that I've ever felt in my life. I will absolutely recommend this place to family and friends, and plan to return for at least one more massage after my next scheduled appointment. Great place! more

Great place for a massage! 7/20/2011

Excellent, professional massages from nice people! Now that I'm 5 months pregnant, I especially enjoy the prenatal massages with the special cushions for pregnant bodies. It's the most comfortable I've felt in a month! The therapist is specially trained in how pregnancy changes the body, and is informative and great at her job! more

Great 7/14/2011

First time I had a massage that felt both relaxing and healing. The Therapist addressed my muscular and tissue needs in an extremely professional manner, informed me of what she was doing and why, and how I could help maintain good balance without such tension in my upper back and shoulders. I was also impressed that though I arrived ""right on time"" rather than the requested few minutes early, I was greeted and encouraged to get comfortable before starting. The massage also went over 60 minutes so the therapist could finish the work she started. I was the top priority, not the clock! more

Wellness Center Kudos 7/13/2011

I have had back problems for the last 20 years and have been working with a chiropractor, going to PT and taking muscle relaxer. I have had two massages at the Wellness center and have gotten much relief. I have also had a session in the float tank which to my surprise was wonderful. It was one of the most relaxing experiences i have ever had.\r Recently my back issues have become extremely painful. I have had a MRI which showed no significant findings - which says my issues is mostly muscle. My first thought was to get a massage from the Wellness Center because of my past experience with them. Today i have an appt and will follow up to this review once i am done. more

Highly Recomended 6/30/2011

I had been seeing a chiropractor for severe lower back distress for 6 months when I visited the Wellness Center for the first time. Although I had seen slow and steady progress with my chiropractor over those 6 months, one hour with Jackie healed my back more quickly than 6 months of chiropractic care. She also showed me how to stretch the muscles in the sore area so I could further alleviate my pain. I highly recommend Jackie to anyone searching for an excellent masseuse in Minneapolis, and look forward to my next appointment. more

Very therapeutic 5/11/2011

I have many medical issues and was at the end of my rope when I decided to go to the Wellness Center. I went with an open mind and was willing to share what was going on with my massage therapist. She is incredibly knowledgable and is much more than just a massage therapist. She has given me stretches to do at home and her sessions are doing more for me than anyone else has. I highly recommend the Wellness Center to anyone who has given up on traditional medicine. more

I visited the Wellness Center in Minneapolis the other week and enjoyed my experience with Becky. I appreciate that the environment is largely clinical with emphasis on therapeutic massage. Becky was personable, pleasant and knowledgeable. I was impressed with her use of vibrational and jostling techniques. My tissue responded very well. I am returning tomorrow morning after two beautiful falls on the damnable Minnesota ice. Booked a 90 min. Can't wait to feel better. more

I have been a customer of the wellness center for 7 years and I cannot say enough about it. There therapists are amazing and I love their flexibility and how you can usually get in for a same day appointment. They've helped me through injuries, pregnancy, headaches and so much more. Give them a try you will love them. more

guaranteed great massage 2/8/2011

I've been going to this massage place for awhile, sometimes I make it in once a month sometimes less often. I keep going back because the amazing thing about this place is that I've never gotten a bad massage there. Not even once! It's very relieving for me to be able to go to a place and be guaranteed a good massage. Massages are a special treat for me, so it's nice not to have to worry that I'm throwing my money away-I know it will be worth it. I like Marjorie or Kimberly but I've gone to probably 4 of the other masseuse people there and they were also excellent. I have a chronic issue of tightness in my hip and one of the practitioners there was able to explain where it came from and why and then they were able to release my pain in ONE SESSION. Now I know how to massage myself to keep it from recurring. The practitioners there are very experienced, very talented and skillful people. This place also has a great holistic atmosphere. If you can try the float tank you should, it's something I wish everyone could experience. more
