The Townes At University Pointe

This apartment community is a quiet comfortable place to live. I adore my apartment love the location and appreciate the friendly staff. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years now. The new management company is really involved with upgrading and adding new amenities. I’m excited to see what else they do. more

The maintenance men are rude shady individuals, the office staff is equally rude, and you cannot get in contact with the actual company that owns the place to save your life! The appliances are outdated as in no company makes them any more so finding replacement parts are impossible. Example: When we moved in we had uneven shelves in our refrigerator because the parts were from another model. The on-site laundry is a joke! The hot water selections on the washers DO NOT WORK and the washer is more like cold water soak that you pay 1.50 for. There is no pool and hasn’t been a pool in years! If you inquire about it they’ll simply tell you “next year”. Mailboxes are unsecured and flimsy. The dumpsters are always overflowing and we won’t even get on the fact that if you don’t spray down your apartment you’ll have roaches no matter how clean you are. This is probably the worst place you could live with the price being the only reason you’d suffer through it until you could find something better, but the apartments, amenities, staff, and are itself do not deserve a tag over 500. The same people running these apartments are the same people who run the 4 across and down the street it’s just a mess! I would suggest a roommate and a better apartment and I would never suggest living here for anyone unless it was a dire emergency and you literally have nowhere else to go. more

Hey I have already contacted you guys a few months back about my apartment complex issues that continued and were not fixed. End result was that I ended up moving out early due to me witnessing a armed robbery in front of my apartment in broad daylight. Witch I reported to the police and the rent office. I suggested that they should try having police or security ride around but never got a response. Not even two weeks later my car was broken into nothing was done about that incident it was blamed on teenagers out of school with nothing to do. There was also a lot of homeless people and drug addicts who frequently occupied this area behind my apartment. All this led me to just pay off the apartment and move out ASAP. Here it is I have been gone from there about 8 months now and I go to check my credit score and to my surprise I see were I owe the apartment complex 800$ in clean up fees and damages that they say they had to clean up. I feel like someone took up shelter after I left the apartment without them knowing about it. They never once contacted me about this matter the landlord was never able to be reached to come do a walk through of the apartment. She blew me off every time I offered her a chance to look at it. It's a lot going on at this point if you could give me some help that would be greatly appreciated thank more

I swear if I could give no stars I would. These apartments are complete old raggedy trash. To begin with there were roaches all over. They "sprayed" once In a while but I believe they were spraying sugar water instead of bug repellant. Old stained carpets and no bathroom outlets. Loud music and fighting all the time. I literally saw a street brawl outside of my bedroom window one night. Had a girl stealing my electricity from my outside outlet and management basically said we can't do anything about it. Had random ppl standing by my door sometimes when I opened it. Old people in wheelchairs rolling around half naked. I saw it all at this trash they call an apartment complex. Management has gotten worse all these chicks that are friends in the office talking and hanging out but not working. The ONLY positive thing I will say is maintenance was extremely nice and quick about responding to work orders. When I finally moved out they had the audacity to charge me for drip pans and a "dirty tub" plus my carpet shampooed. I am by no means a dirty person and I was shocked that they even pulled that BS! This place is a living nightmare so if you want your sanity and peace of mind move elsewhere. show less more
