Delicious bubble teas are presented in smoothie or cooler form (whether or not you want dairy). Choose one or mix and match from a ton of flavours from chocolate to strawberry to lychee to taro. You can have this smooth poured over pearls (a.k.a boba) which are tapico ballls the size of... a pearl or gellies which are like hard knox gelatin in a very miniaturized rectangular form or both. The drink is sealed with plastic after being made to order and you shove an oversized straw (made to accomidate the pearls and/or gellies) through and drink up the smoothie goodness. \r
You can also get the smoothies/coolers without pearls or gellies and loose leaf tea is also available.\r
You really need the mindset of having a meal or a large snack when you go in because if you're getting a bubble tea, it really fills you up! They also have some sandwiches, chips, and vegan cookies along with other goodies to accompany the bubble tea or have alone if you so wish. \r
The Tea Garden on Hennepin also has wi-fi. Yay!\r
Sometimes they have live music. Every live music even I've been to there has really been incredibly awful. \r
And local art is hung on the walls. It's usually pretty decent. \r
The Tea Garden is a bit expensive, but if you go in there and order then hang around for a couple hours soaking up the cool-kid ambiance and free wi-fi, and some issues of Lavender, the Onion, etc., it'll be worth it.
Pros: Variety of bubble tea flavours
Cons: Hurts the wallet
