Best

The blueberry pancakes are the best ever. Weird, freaky decor. Lots of posing little JHU undergrads, but you ain't goin' there for that are you? Park close to the door 'cause that...

Worst

This was my first time at paper moon and I won't be returning! The service was aweful! I had a party of 7 and the waiter was so nasty, she wasn't friendly at all. I will never go ...

Entertaining atmosphere, great comfort food without being boring and predictable, creative cooking, delicious results! friendly service but not intrusive. Great for ALL ages!! and great for any occasion! Pros: food is delicious, entertaining atmosphe, inexpensive Cons: limited parking, noisy more

The best! 11/15/2002

The papermoon diner is absolutely fabulous! It's open 24(I think, or its open really late). I love the service, beacause as the menu says, ""the person that takes your order, may not bring your food ...."" You can ask anyone to do anything. Also their bread pudding(with ice cream) will make you holla! more

Pretentious BS 10/3/2002

Pretentious sums it up in one word. I don't know what made the atmosphere worse...the extremely rude seating host and snotty wait staff or the surly, chain smoking, coffee slurping, art school slackers that hung out there. The food was crap and so was the atmosphere. I can't believe I was talked into walking a mile to that dump. Cons: Pretentious, Rude, Arrogant more

Up in Flames 9/30/2002

We tried this place on the recommendation of friends but we were totally disappointed. The menu is boring, the food is less than average, and the decor is tacky, not funky. If you're looking for good diner atmosphere head to Cafe Hon or Blue Moon, heck, head to IHOP as an alternative. more

Ecelctic and creative 9/23/2002

The food is as wonderful as the surroundings. So the service is simply fair but the crew is constantly hoofing it. The menu is AWESOME for the non-meat eater as well as for those who consider themselves carnivores. The cuisine is fabulously creative. I recommend an avocado, portabello and swiss cheese omlette, the salmon eggs benedict with tomato, or really anything on the menu. Please do yourself a favor and have an espresso milkshake. What a way to start your day. Pros: taste, ambience, creativity Cons: price more

More hype than substance 8/23/2002

I love the deco, love the food but the service here...well, it isn't service. You will wait and wait and wait for your order to be taken, your order to be served, your check at the end of the meal. We used to love coming here late night but gave up because of the service. Pros: Good food, Quirky decor, free parking Cons: service, bad attitude more

EAT HERE. 8/8/2002

Papermoon Diner is a fantastic place to entertain yourself. The moment you step in, its like you've traveled to another alien-planet. Food is good and staff are very friendly. Great attractions on the walls :) more

Kitchy 7/26/2002

This is a great little restaurant. There's so much eye candy everywhere. Plus the food there is great, cheap, and you get loads of it. It's a fun little place. I recomend it to anyone with a sense of humor. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Small more

Something for everyone 7/18/2002

The Papermoon is diverse both in food and clienteld- there is something everyone will like, from meatloaf to tofu! All kinds come to eat there- from Hopkins professors to out-of-town clubbers (especially after 2 AM). Plus, it's always open and usually serves between 10 and 20 different desserts at the same time! Pros: Inexpensive, Creative, Cool Cons: Crowded more
