At CSC we believe early childhood services play a significant role in the development of children. The philosophy of CSC is to provide developmentally appropriate programs and services while aspiring to quality. We are driven to create a safe, nurturing environment that enables each child to function at his or her full potential.

We are approved by the NY State Education Department and licensed by the Department of Health to accept and service pre-school children between the ages of 2.6-5 who have special needs. We serve a diverse socio-economic community and our contribution is to strengthen its very core through quality education. Our objective is defined and tailored to the specific needs of students.

Our mission is to meet the educational needs of children in order to achieve progress in all the developmental areas. We believe that students are individuals and they learn in variety of ways. By continual use of a diagnostic and prescriptive approach we meet the individual needs of all our students. Main goal is to remedy each child¿s deficits in social, emotional, cognitive, motoric, linguistic and academic domains so that they can function at their highest developmental potential.

Our unique roster of seasoned professional staff support the betterment of our communities by contributing their experience, excellence, skills and time to assist and manage. That is how our student population soared from one class of twelve to two schools with a total of approximately 300 students.
