New York prices and snotty service for a hotel supposedly known for great service and hospitality? My oh my, the Brown has fallen... I do remember some great years, but I guess current management does not care about giving a great time to their guests anymore. Too bad. more

over priced 7/6/2003

The Brown is o.k. but over priced. It doesn't have a swimming pool and parking is $12-$14.00 per night in the adjoining parking garage when you can park anywhere else in the area for $3-$5.00 and I parked for free on the weekend. Cons: Expensive, No pool, Parking more

Get a good taste of Louisville 11/28/2002

The Brown has been known as a five star hotel for decades. Any time friends come to visit they stay here and love it. It's pricy- but for a night or two, it's a great romantic getaway!! The food is fab as well. This is where the hot brown came from!! Yum!! Pros: valet?, deluxe, romantic Cons: parking, cost more
