Decent Thai 4/16/2006

This food has good Thai food that comes out quickly. It's great for both lunch and dinner, and they have more than just paid thai and drunken noodle. Do look into other dishes. One time, they had a great special, which was a tempura soft shell served with a spicy Thai sauce, which was just to die for. Another favorite is the Phucket noodle, but that might just be because of the way we say it. more

Not impressed 4/13/2006

I think I had the crispy pad thai there...it was ok, but not great. I prefer Chilli Duck, it's much much better. The food's decent, but if you walk a little further you can have even better Thai food. more

Good Thai Food 3/19/2006

Thai Basil does not have the area's best Thai food- for that you will have to go to Chinatown. But it does have the best for the Newbury Street neighborhood. They have an excellent selection of curries and Pad Thai dishes. Everything on the menu is available in a cheaper lunch size portion if you are there at the right time- definitely a good amount of food for prices that rarely top $10. The service here is pretty good as well. more
